Foo Fighters. Easy listening Rock, mindless lyrics, simple driving beats and powerchords, emotional vocals.
It elicits the same neurological response as Imagine Dragons. Both have unique sounds that are slightly novel in mainstream music (both borrowing from different alternative rock sub-genres).
I can listen to both while working out at the gym. I wouldn’t listen to either while sipping brandy.

Foo Fighters fad-hate is so delusional. You don't like them... awesome. Just go with that. Not everybody has to explain why they dislike certain music. It just doesn't work for you, that's fine. But no, I gotta try to say they're "easy listening" because trolling doesn't need to be factual and it's a hoot!
I stopped being a real FF fan back in the early 2000s but the pervasive emptyheaded commentary online has made me give them another chance. The opposite of wrong must be right.

I love the Foo Fighters. I like Imagine Dragons although less so. They aren’t that dissimilar as far as musical sophistication however.
