Col. Bruce Hampton and Aquarium Rescue Unit

1993-4ish

Oteal singing the notes in unison to his bass during his solo

Drummer playing a broom stick

Col. Bruce being drunk and playing out if control solos on a mini Strat

I was just getting into playing guitar and stood in front of Jimmy Herring. He played solo after solo, fluidly, that melted my face the whole time his expression was as if he were doing his grocery list in his head. I remember wanting to go home and throw my guitar in the trash--I'd never get to that level.

Few of my favorites were Toadies, Gin Blossoms right before they blew up and Band of Horses a few years ago. Worst? Counting Crowes in their prime. Ol baw had too many drinks at The Chimes and couldn’t even remember the words to Mr Jones. We left after 3 or 4 songs.

The only one I saw was Aaron Watson/Jon Wolfe in 2017. I thought it was a great show.

Wow, that's right. I remember being bummed that I couldn't go to the Pixies show but I could've sworn it was a later date. Apparently the Bodeans played before them too.

Yikes .... lot's of mediocre listings in this thread. Maybe you guys are thrilled then the uninspired, vapid former talent buyer is returning from the CASINO circuit.

Pretty sure most of the shows listed are from the Glenn Prejean era, whereas you’re trying to bash Chris Lundgren.

I remember the Tommy Lee show being very entertaining. Also, Pigface circa 2002.

I never would have guessed Incubus would have gotten so big. That was before they completely changed their sound.

This was right after they released Make Yourself, correct? I was 15 and didn’t have tickets but I randomly went to their preshow meet & greet at Paradise.
