Exactly. This was Master of Puppets era Metallica on Cliff Burtons last American tour before he died. This tour was legendary.

I have an awesome audience master of GT from Hartford in about 1988. We the ran over to the Agora Ballroom and taped Zero. The mikes weren't up two seconds before Zero came on...

Seeing Linkin Park open for Kottonmouth Kings at HOB on their first tour was a treat.

Was a great show, but loud as hell. I def believe my later life hearing loss is greatly attributable to that show.

Legendary indeed. I caught the show at UNO Lakefront Arena. Damn glad I got to see Cliff before he passed away. They were amazing.
I remember seeing an Ozzy quote. Can’t remember it word for word but it was something to the effect that it was brutal following them on stage every night.
Not saying this would be one of the best ever but I do have a pretty good one. In 1993 I saw Rage Against The Machine opening for House Of Pain. Had never heard of them before the show but damn sure bought their CD at the merch table after the show.

I saw stone temple pilots and Sammy Hagar opened for Aerosmith at starwood in Nashville in 2004. I thought the stone temple pilots were better than Aerosmith.
