I live right up the road from Longview and we do most of our shopping there. It’s a pretty decent place north of 80. No real nightlife to speak of though. Coming from south Louisiana that was strange getting used to....

It’s only 40 mins from Gilmer which is sneakily the best small town in Texas. Also Smoking J’s has the best BBQ. I have a house for sale there if you are interested....
