Allman-Betts Family Revival in NOLA on April 30. Great show!

If you like the Allman Brothers, do not miss this show if you are in the area.
Devon Allman and Duane Betts break away from their own bands each year and do shows in tribute to their fathers and the Allman Brothers.
I’ve seen it before and it’s fantastic. It’s in the style of The Last Waltz with The Band where they have an all-star cast join them on the songs.
For this show, the guests will have a Louisiana flair.
I can’t recommend it enough.

Is the new pope going to be Catholic?

Wed/April 30 in New Orleans
Acid Bath at The Fillmore
The Radiators at The Civic
LCD Soundsystem at the Saenger Theater
Allman/Betts Band at the Mahalia Jackson Theater
What an amazing night of music in New Orleans but I will be at the Acid Bath show.

Saw this about 3-4 years ago and had to leave early. Not because it was bad, but rather because they wouldn’t stop playing and I had work in the morning. It was an incredible event and show! After about 2 hours I had to bail.
What they did was bring out another musician, play an AB tune with him/her and then play one of that musicians songs. Robert Randolph, Samantha fish, Kenny Wayne shepherd are just a few examples.

That Umphrey's McGee Led Zeppelin show with Jason Bonham looks like a good one as well.

I believe it is this Wednesday night. Doesn't look like I can make it, but I will be there this weekend for a great weekend of live music.

I saw it on their 2024 tour. One of the best concerts I've ever been to.
I'm sure the New Orleans version will be great as well. Wish I could make it.
