Looks good but I have my doubts with the girl boss.

Zach Snyder . . .

A lot of slow-mo action scenes . . .

It fits.

Let us recap:

Sarah Conor female lead? frick YA!

Rey Palpatine grrrrrrl POWAH! No. Hell no.

Based on recent Hollywood's trends, he has a legitimate concern.

Well, and Zack Snyder I’m sure. But that goes without saying.

It's like a combination of Gladiator, Star Wars, Harry Potter and Avatar, but i'm not sure if it's in a good way

I think there was some Scorpion King in there too

Oh look... 15 girl bosses in one picture. I thought only Marvel could stoop to such levels...guess not.

I'm down.

Looks like a hybrid of Star Wars, Warhammer 40k, Avatar, and Narnia.

Sucker Punch is my only complete miss for Snyder.

I said it.

I saw Ray Fisher is in it. I blew him off for a while as being a baby after JL but after seeing Snyder Cut and finding out that Wheedon was indeed a terrible person, I’m happy to see him getting work and appreciate Snyder for it.

Keep Djimon Honsou’s character alive through the entire runtime.

Crap.
That trailer drew me in.

Good to see Jax from Sons of Anarchy got another role.
And Cary Ewles?
And Hopkins?

Zack Snyder is the very pinnacle of the phrase "style over substance."

can’t believe Netflix let Zack Snyder direct two massive budget movies

How does the budget compare to knives out: glass onion?

I think they had a lot of success with that

Yes, they spent a lot of money on glass onion. But knives out was already a hit. And this looks like two movies on the Dune level budget. Maybe not that high. And Zach Snyder, almost single-handedly drove DC into the ground. Or at least that’s the perception. So, it is very surprising. But I actually enjoy Zack Snyder movies and I’m glad they did this. It is also worth noting that Netflix had a pretty good hit with that Bautista, Snyder, zombie movie recently, so maybe it’s not that crazy they let him do this.

I believe it’s more on the studio when they panicked and edited Suicide Squad into complete trash.

Whedon, WW84 and Covid were the biggest issues

Yes, but, arguably Snyder’s creative approach started the disaster in a divisive Man of Steel movie and a BvS movie that WAY underperformed. Snyder created divisiveness, not bad films imo. But underperforming films definitely.

Now, WB may have put in their own final nail with producing actual garbage in SS and JL

BvS is one of the most disappointing movies ever made based on expectations. Not a bad movie, but an extremely negative experience on release. Hence why it underperformed.
