I didn't get that either seeing as how he has one of the most powerful scenes in Gladiator at the very end.

Can't argue with underperforming. I mean, Nolan had a big hand in shaping Man of Steel and for me, it's one of the best comic movies ever made. I know people want the blue boyscout shite but that movie blew me away. Females didn't care for it, I know.
BvS - potential to be great but the story was too muddied and rushed. it would've been a lot better with Cranston as Lex and get rid of the senate and Africa scenes
They should've done a solo Bats movie (with Harley Quinn for the hype machine) and MoS 2 first.

I was meh on Watchman to begin with but then read the books and understood more of what they were going for and appreciated it on the rewatch.
