Coop is a great character. He just continues to make bad choices. And he’s a terrible crook. It is a fun show to watch.

Coop's decisions in women on this show is leading him down some interesting roads.

Watched the most recent episode last night. Didn't advance the plot much IMO...next week is supposed to be the finale. Not sure how they're going to close this thing out.

She did a quick turn on him and her ex-husband when she said Coop murdered her husband. She knows Coop has basically shot down anything serious with her including when she went out of town just before the murder, so he would have zero motive to murder him.

Did they ever state how obvious the gun was in his trunk?

It popped open so much, so besides many people knowing that about his car if it was just sitting out fairly obvious in the trunk it seems like it needed to have been planted fairly soon before the police search for him or someone else not to notice. It popped open when his sister was driving him back from hospital.

We may find out some previously unknown connection with the guy and another side character like maybe the former fiancé of Coop’s sister or someone similar, and that someone knew about Coop and Sam. His sister may have told her ex about Coop and Sam, and I think the only other person who knew was Elena. We know she was there at some point without Coop to take his money, but due to his beating Coop may have not checked money before arrest to know if she took the money while he was at Princeton, in the hospital, or while in jail. If while in jail it would imply the cops missed it which seems unlikely even though it was played that the detective was about to check before gun found and didn’t check.

He did not reciprocate what appear to be flirtations from Elena as well which indirectly led to some problems with the stolen art that night and afterwards.

Elena doesn’t seem like the typical immigrant maid (and possibly illegal but for sure not a citizen yet). She fit in at the Art scene and the club pretty well. She has been in the country long enough where realistically she should have become something more with the way she fits in. Not sure if that means anything for the plot of the show or not.

I’ve really enjoyed the show but that was a pretty shitty end to a season.

Elena is the one pulling all the strings IMO.

Remember the line about how the maids know EVERYTHING about all the houses.

Also the way she interacted with the wanna be gangster that her brother was in trouble with….

I think she is the link in all of this.

Made the mistake of starting this while trying to fall asleep last night. Was not expecting this to be this engaging.

Also didn't know my Hollywood free pass Olivia Munn was in it or I would have started it the day it premiered Man she is still a smoke show.

Only two episodes in and the show may turn to crap but it was a very good first two episodes. Apple+ delivering the goods as usual.

1000% her and Munn are involved in it. Idk if they knew they could set Coup up, but once he happened to be there he became such an easy fall guy.

Also, remember, the maid knows Coop and Munn are fricking as she saw his phone when Munn sent the nude. She’s the only one who knew about them.

Not going to read the thread yet to avoid spoilers but two episodes in my only complaint is the security of the houses and him not wearing at least a ski mask or something.

I get it's TV and you want your lead to show his face but come on. And I get that rich people are relaxed and might not lock their door but I guess none of these houses are going to have any type of security systems?

I have enjoyed it. Hamm isn't the greatest actor but the show is pretty fun.

They address that pretty explicitly when he first begins breaking in.

If it's the way they addressed in his first break in, that's not a legit reason.

Like I say, I get that they are saying uber rich people are over confidant and don't expect their house to be broken into and live in a low crime community, but to pretend that all of these houses don't have any security systems is a bit ridiculous. I mean none of these houses even have a ring doorbell
