I came here to post "About Time" as well. That was one of the saddest and most beautiful scenes I've ever seen.

This film spelled out what I always knew. If you can time travel, you cannot travel to before your kids are born.

Several already named here, but I really appreciate this one.

Dad, I may not be the best, but I’ve come to believe that I got it in me to be somebody in this world. And it’s not because I’m so different from you either, it’s because I’m the same. I mean, I can be just as hard-headed, and just as tough. I only hope I can be as good a man as you. Sure, Wernher von Braun is a great scientist, but he isn’t my hero.

That kid did a pretty good job of acting in reacting to his always calm and respectable dad ordering him to kill a bunch of brits and then seeing his dad kill 20 of them with a hatchet.

One of the first ones that popped into my head as well. Gut wrenching scene that was also just beautiful and sweet. I tell everybody that if they ever loved their dad they should watch that movie. It’s incredible.

Big Fish as well. Another fantastic movie.

I’ll throw in some good father son stories that haven’t been mentioned:
Pursuit of Happyness - several scenes.
IJ and the Last Crusade - “Indiana...let it go” (or something like that).
Hell, even several scenes from movies like Lion King and Finding Nemo stand out for fathers and sons.

Some good ones mentioned in here though.

There are a couple at the end of Warrior. Nick Nolte was fantastic.

Leaves from the vine
Falling so slow
Like fragile tiny shells
Drifting in the foam
Little soldier boy
Come marching home
Brave soldier boy
Comes marching home

I love this movie, and that is a great moment.

My dad and I had some fun times building and shooting model rockets after seeing October Sky. It was a nice hobby when I was younger.

PWEJR88 nailed it. When the Dad tells Quaids, " I wasn't missing this one" it kicks my arse every time. The Rookie was a great movie.
