Another strong episode. They are really solidifying how things went down. I wonder if those that are at Lottie’s are truly the only ones to survive? I can’t remember the scene of the girls walking to the plane that we saw a brief glimpse of but I don’t think anyone is missing. I wouldn’t be surprised if they throw in a plot twist and we find out someone else is out there. 3 more seasons of slowly finding out who is next to be eaten won’t be interesting for long if we know who survives. Gotta be more twists coming.

They keep alluding to this “what we did” and yes cannibalism is bad but in terms of survival, they did what they had to do to make it as their mental status deteriorated and hunger set in.

Not sure what else they could’ve done that would be even more heinous than that but they skirt around it often as adults

I could see the “what we did” being that they banded together as an alliance and rigged the game, so to speak. Assuring they would all make it as long as possible.

I'm hoping we get more information about Cabin Guy and the history of other fricked up shite that has happened in that cabin.

I also wonder if at some point the Adult Yellowjackets will return to the cabin.

ETA: Just realized there are only 9 episodes this season, so next week is the season finale

Why don't these idiots try to fish the lake instead of eating each other? The lake is massive

I think the first season they were running what were essentially an effort at trot lines but the lake wasn't producing (which would make sense with the supernatural "wilderness" shite going on). Just my guess.

@Sloth I know once again we will have to wait forever for more answers. I think if it was pitched as a 5 season show to tell the full story they would end up back there. I am curious if one of the main women from the group in the adult world is going to die in the finale. I also can totally see Shauna trying to throw Jeff under the bus for the murder. Also, Jeff's "Edward Electric Knife Hands" dream was funny and finally explained the blood on the family photo from the intro. Very curious to see what Frodo does, and whether or not he sends that tip. If so, he isn't long for this world Which he may have (I need to a rewatch of the last episode).

So Frodo goes to the purple cult… gonna be real mad if the cliffhanger is who drinks the poisonous mixture

Because of the writers strike it’ll be freaking 2025 before we get season 3

Oh dang, didn’t think about the writers strike. This show is going to be going on until I retire.

Maybe Coach Ben was "missing" and living under the tree like Javi did when they all were rescued. Could he still be out there in the wilderness present day? Nah, they probably ate him!

I don't think that he will actually send a tip to the police. I think he is trying to protect Misty by maybe sending the police information that points elsewhere??

True, but for what purpose? Are they going to confront some big, bad evil out in the woods or just to come to terms with what they all did out there?

If we have 3 more seasons, I also imagine we'll get more of the story on what happened after they were rescued and how Lottie wound up in the mental institute that the adult characters keep referring to.

I hope a main character dies. Too much plot armor can really ruin a show.

Is it weird that I was disappointed with the explanation for the blood on the family photo? I was hoping for something far more sinister, like maybe it being Saracusa's? blood?

Once this series is finished, the complete soundtrack may be one of the best.

Here is the Yellowjackets playlist so far. It is updated weekly as new episodes come out.

Just saw this on the Yellojackets Reddit page and people are interpreting it to mean that maybe Mari is alive, she was the one who sent the postcards, and maybe Adult Mari will make an appearance in the S2 finale? I was really hoping she was Pit Girl because she's annoying AF

I thought the same thing. Maybe he is trying to win her back over by saving her / providing some evidence that somehow makes someone else in Adam’s life the prime suspect.

It would be completely in the vein of Yellowjackets to have Frodo bail them all out, but get murdered anyway because Misty doesn’t realize he’s on their side.

Other thoughts (I just watched it this evening):
- Travis finally forgave Nat and then she (albeit with encouragement from the others) let Javi drown. Damn.
- How the frick is Coach Ben gonna climb out of that hole with one leg? Am I the only one who thought spelunking with no rope was pretty fricking stupid for an amputee?
- I wonder what kind of bones those were. Presumably they were from whatever Javi was eating down there.
- I’m pretty sure eating a belt is a terrible idea. I guess none of these girls know what kind of shite they use to tan leather.
- Speaking of which, I’m starting to buy into one particular Reddit theory (which I won’t post because I’m not sure whether it’s been discussed here) now that multiple people are having hallucinations. Or maybe it’s just the hunger as they suggested in the show.

So true.

If you don't want to post the theory, any chance you could link to a Reddit post discussing it? I'm curious to read about it!
