Is the season over, or is there a 10th episode like the first season? IMDB is only showing 9eps. I binged season one a week ago, and wanted to wait to start season 2 until all episodes have aired.

Yes, just 9 episodes for this season.

Yes, people are clinging to a “bonus” episode which makes no sense, especially for a show that is supposedly dropping in audience. This show was already batshit crazy in season 1 but now it’s just foolish and all over the place

I like this show but it went really off the rails this season and I get the feeling the writers are just making up shite as they go even if they said they planned on it being 4 or 5 seasons. Feel like it was living off its season 1 success too much. Sort of reminds me of the Matrix trilogy.

I thought this season was great. I don’t think it went off the rails at all but started to make sense.

By the way, there was phone number shown during the final episode and if you call it you get a rather interesting message:

6074781033

I also noticed on my phone that it is Andover, NY which I assume is where Lottie’s cult was.

Oh, definitely. They mention the Sunshine Honey and that they are shutting the gates and leaving. The lady mentions they are turning out the lights and then some message at the end but it was hard to make out. I’m sure you can Google a written transcript of it.

Misty has the whole serial killer thing

If she's not a straight-up serial killer at this point, she certainly has those vibes — withheld medication from the elderly patient (who then dies and is later cremated along with Adam's head), kidnapped and purposefully killed Jessica the "reporter," inadvertently killed both Misty and Natalie.

Also amputated a dude's leg, destroyed the emergency locator transmitter, poisoned tea (which she attempted twice), disabled Natalie's car, and placed a hidden camera in her room.

Not to mention all the shady "citizen detective' stuff.

Saw an interesting theory that pit girl, from the very beginning, is not one of the original girls but someone from a future time. Some theorize it is Shauna’s daughter or the girl from the cult that befriended Natalie. If you go back and watch the episode it is pretty clear that isn’t one of the actresses currently part of the crash group. They could have purposely cast someone random so no one could freeze frame it and figure out who it is but I also think the reveal would be stupid knowing who all is left now (or who we think is left).

They could be playing with the timelines I guess and letting this be 2 different incidences … but as soon as they chase and then pull the pit girl out it then goes to misty and the cult wearing the furs and masks and feasting on her flesh

In an interview after S1, the creators confirmed it's not Callie:
quote:

Nickerson: One of my favorite ones was the idea that the girl that we see running in the teaser of the pilot was actually [Shauna's daughter] Callie—that what we were seeing was not a flashback, but a flash forward to Callie being kidnapped and brought back into the wilderness [laughs]. I mean, I know it's not Callie. I just thought that was such a fun, clever, creative idea. Although, it also steps on some stuff that we saw immediately later in the pilot because we then obviously unveil Misty. So, we can't do that, but the fact that somebody was thinking that in almost the fifth dimension and having what would actually be a fourth timeline in the pilot, I was just like, "Oh, that's just really fun."

Yeah I agree. Just finished season 2 after watching season 1 for the first time a couple weeks ago. I really enjoyed the first season. The second not so much. Apart from some choice 90s music bangers, and the character of Walter Tattersal, I found myself losing interest. It just started to feel like the story was spread way too thin between too many characters that I don’t really care about.
