I know I'll get downvoted to hell for this, but I'm adding M+A+S+H. When I was a kid, whenever that song started playing and the helicopter was flying that was my cue to change the channel.

Funny, when I was a kid I felt the same way, the song and the helicopter was a bummer but I don’t remember specifically why, like maybe it came on after a show I really liked.
Anyway I loved MASH when I got older and thought the opening song was pretty good for it.

I used to watch WWF wrestling as a little kid and right after, MASH came on. I hated that song.

As much as I loved the show - I couldn't (still can't) stand the opening credit backing track for the first 2 seasons of Farscape. I get why they went "out there quirky" during the initial monologue part... but the discordant vocals afterward make my ears want to vomit.

The Mindy Project is terrible, but I think Fresh Off the Boat actually tops it. I did think the show was pretty funny, but the theme song is comically bad.

I don’t know about worst intro song, but without a doubt Peaky Blinders has one of the best intros
