After seeing The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, my wife (who was never into going to films, but willing to give it a try) refused to go to the theatre with me ever again. Really a shame. Don't know if it counts as the worst, but it sure had an impact.

Doesn't help that the only other film we, as a couple, sat through was The Love Guru.

My man, that is spousal abuse. Why do you torture your wife like that.

and then is one of my favorite comedy scenes ever.

a lot of movies listed in here are so bad they are good or at least have funny scenes.

there are far worse movies than those that are so bad they are good.

Trauma Center is easily the worst movie I’ve ever seen. Tito Ortiz's dumbass as a bad guy and Bruce Willis in his worst performance. Don’t know if it was him mailing it in or his disease, but it was hard to watch. Trash.

I’ll second Mortal Kombat Annihilation as well. Oof.

It's one of those movies that I'll watch again. Modern Problems was worse.

Green Lantern had zero suspense or build up. Same with Fantastic Four with Myles Teller. Morbius. The Marvels. Absoulute shite. Equally terrible.'

Ghost Dad.

I submit John carpenter’s Vampires.

Plot, dialogue, acting, camera work, etc. all terrible.

The Mouse Trap
This is the Mickey Mouse horror movie that came out last year when Mickey Mouse became public domain. It’s not even cheesy bad good. It’s just bad. Really bad. I dare someone to sit through this movie.

Based on the performance of the people who made the film, I will always say this is The Last Jedi.

They had the opportunity to bring back Luke Skywalker for the first time in 30+ years. The ball was six inches from the hole - and they somehow put it in a bunker with the direction they took.

At least most shitty movies have to start from scratch. TLJ started from greatness and managed to turn it to shite.
Good take.

Scenes from a Mall is the only movie I have walked out on. Only took fifteen minutes of Woody Allen and Bette Midler having inane conversations as a middle age Jewish couple. Oh and Woody was sporting a man bun.

Probably not the worst movie of all time but easily the worst movie in recent memory that I’ve watched is the new Roadhouse.

The thing is these were her naive choices. Like I said, she had almost no experience going to the theatre as she thought it was a waste of time (her older brother and sister were the opposite curiously). So the newlywed saw that her husband owned all of these DVD's and decided to enthusiastically lead the way to the cinema!

I had my deep misgivings about her choices at the time. In hindsight, as soon as she announced her interest, I would have taken over and said, "Fine. But let me choose the films then." Most likely we would have seen either of Valkyrie, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Cloverfield (though I now know she really doesn't like that genre), and/or I Am Legend.

Oh well.

In the spirit of the Amazing Bulk... Way back when Netflix was not the polished streaming service it is now, they had this abomination of a "movie" available. Marina Monster

Instead of a plot, it has the same nonsensical scene repeated over and over with different (non) actors. Absolute torture to watch.
