This show is hilarious.
I always thought it was that moronic humor based off of the commercials.
It is very enjoyable.
Captain Holt is hilarious.

Yeah I think it’s in the pantheon with parks, office, community, etc
Ironic bc I remember when Samberg was on one of the CC roasts and Jeff Ross joked about how dumb a sitcom about being a cop is

I thought it was okay for the first few seasons then got too stupid.

It feels like a comedy sketch that shouldn't have worked as a TV show but did. The plot doesn't matter most episodes, it's usually all about the chemistry and getting the right mix of characters.

It's hilarious. At some point (Season 5 I think) it becomes a little Gina Centric for me, but the Florida episodes are some of the best comedy you'll see.
It is also the best "leads in a relationship" transition I have ever seen.

Gina was by far my least favorite character but she got a ton of screen time in that season and the show dragged hard for me. (Reminds me of Ralphio and his sister from Parks and Rec who almost ruined that show for me)
I think it is great. The only episode that I did not like was the first episode of the last season since it just didn't even try to be funny (except for Dr. Cox).

That roast was between him leaving SNL and the debut of Brooklyn 99. Almost every roaster took a shot at the show and how fast it would be cancelled. That's usually a safe bet for a sitcom, but this one lasted.

Rosa's character arc would probably be my 2nd least favorite part of the show

What’s funny is that show was pretty woke before that was even a thing but it was still hilarious. Then it thought it had to go farther and it compromised the writing.

Gina gets 1000x the screen time as Jean Ralphio
I didnt Like her character and I liked Even less how she never seemed to lose. Like she always came out on top or morally superior no matter how fricked she was acting

Could watch the Doug Juedy episodes over and over.

Bingo. I loved, loved, loved that show until about season 5 and I couldn't take it anymore. The PC nonsense went from obvious to tolerable to cringe to the point where the show couldn't be enjoyed. When Terry started kneeling, I turned it off and it stayed off.

If 99 ended and never got picked up by fox it would be looked at totally different. Early years of 99 were so damn good

Love the show overall. Holt and Peralta in Coral Palms (season 4) was awesome. One of my favorite sitcom story lines.
