I love Billy Bob Thornton and Woody Harrelson

Woody has a few stinkers but I can’t really think of anything BBT has done that I haven’t enjoyed.

Barbara Stanwyck the actress who should have won 5 best actress awards.

Actor is much harder to pick, Charlton Heston as the strong lead like El Cid, Warlord, Moses, Ben Hur etc.

But Edward J. Robinson can make a stronger case for best overall actor.

The best was still Paul Muni.

Many actors are misused and do not get a chance to bring out their strong points.

James Cagney is in that case, until he did Yankee Doodle Dandy, many did not know he was a song and dancman, just like Bob Hope.

Fredric Marsh never got to show is strong side, which was comedy, you have to watch What's my line to see that side of him.

Debbie Reynolds is underrated.

Gene Hackman and/or Robert Duvall
Both of these guys could carry movies. Gene Hackmans screen presence is as good as it gets.

Not talking best “actors” here but more so my favorite entertainers/movie stars. My list is based on actors whom I would want to watch a movie they are in even without knowing absolutely anything about the premise of the move. Would watch based purely and only on knowing they are I it.

Movies from before I was born (‘73):
Jimmy Stewart
Cary Grant

My Generation:
Duvall
Hackman
Eastwood
Denzel
Ford
Gibson

New Generation/Up and Comers:
Really starting to like this Timothee’ Chalamet kid.

Strictly for acting, nobody could steal a scene like Michael Shannon. I’ve always loved him.

For just being themselves, Keanu Reeves.

Since we're just talking favorites, Eastwood is my favorite. Timothy Olyphant is high on my list.

I think it’s mainly due to memories of watching movies with my mom, who passed away when I was 14, but I’ll watch anything with Kenneth Branaugh in it or directed by him.

Old school? Maybe Paul Newman

If we're picking old school favorites I would have to go with Jack Nicholson and Clint Eastwood.

Actor: Leslie Neilson for comedies, Arnold for action, I'll have to think on dramatic

Actress: Probably Christina Ricci all time, but more recently maybe Charlize Theron? Christina Hendricks comes to mind - her stint on Firefly alone made me a big fan. She played a damn near perfect "plays innocent femme fatale" in that.
