Is this in T-Town or the Bourbon Bowl?
I'd lean towards bobby Boucher either way.

I think in a normal, clean game Forrest carries the tide to the win. That being said, in this very specific scenario where Forrest was somehow talking shite about Momma, Boucher is going to absolutely frick his shite up.

If Bobby can catch Forest, he’s going down. Forest is pure speed.

Exactly.
Devin White might be able to blow up Jaylen Waddle in an Oklahoma drill, but is it realistic to assume that White could actually square him up on any given play?
Or is it more likely that Waddle catches the ball and just runs away from his arse?

Completely unbiased opinion, Gump

It's all Gump until Bobby realizes that Forrest considers Dr Pepper superior to water as his chosen method of hydration.
Once that happens, Gump is leaving the game on a gurney.

Bobby.
Gump has tremendous straight line speed; however, his lateral movement is stiff. Bobby will crush him before he ever gets to ignite the burners.

Let's be honest, Forrest was fast but this was pre-integrated Alabama football. The game was slower.

Gump is fast, but in the 4th quarter Bobby's superior hydration gives him the advantage.

First half or second half? Bobby thought his Mom was the devil in the second half of the movie. Don't think he'd be that mad.
Now if Forrest dissed Vickie Valencourt... then...

Forrest Gump in the book would kick Bobby Boucher’s arse all over the field.
Dude was like 6’3” 250.
That scrawny character that they chose Tom Hanks to play (worst casting decision ever) would get served extra helpings of water and a big foot up his butthole by Bobby.

Coach Arthur Fonzarelli outsmarts Gump, leading to South-Central Louisiana’s insane victory against Alabama. Bobby Boucher is a non-factor in the final play.
The highlight of Boucher’s team’s season is normally the Bourbon Bowl against another Louisiana team - implying a really low level bowl game, only covered by ESPN because, quote. “We didn’t have anything else planned on Tuesday, December 4th at 2PM”
They shouldn’t be in the same stadium as Bear Bryant’s Alabama team, let alone tied with 30 seconds left after surprise Fullback Bobby Boucher scores a game tying touchdown. SCLSU to kick-off.
This is where “The Fonz” genius comes into play - he had dozens of SCLSU fans poised in the end zone put up signs saying “Wrong way Forrest!” and “Turn Around!!!”.
Gump was fast, damn fast, but he made Bobby Boucher luck like a nuclear physics. Dumb arse ran the wrong way and his own team couldn’t catch him as he ran straight out the back of his own end zone.

Bobby blows up Forrest in the backfield with a drop kick after body slamming the Bama left guard.
Refs throw flag. 15 yards. Bobby ejected. Forrest goes untouched for the TD on the next play. The Rant melts

Much of Bobby's success was based on intimidation, and Forrest is too dim to have any mind games affect him.
