Nick Geraldo RIP, although he was doing roasts at the end so maybe not underrated.
Gary Gulman.
Agree on Pinette. Love all of his stuff; he doesn't miss.

Jay Mohr became the Nickelback of stand-up where it became cool to crumb on him. But, I saw him in Vegas (on comped tix) and he was great. One of the best stand-up sets I've seen in person.

He’s getting way bigger on the scene now but I’ve been a fan of Dan Soder for quite some time.

I love Norm, but he’s widely regarded as the single greatest Gen X comedian.
I was wondering if somebody would say him and even despite your correct statement, he’s underrated

I only have time to listen to Rogan so I hear about comedians from them being on.
Soder was hilarious as well as Mark Normand.

I was a big fan of Mitch Hedberg and still think he didn't get his full due. He has caught on with a new generation so that makes me proud.
I got to see him 3 times before he died and to this day use one of his jokes weekly.
You can tell how good a comedian is based on how other comedians talk about them. A comedian brings him up on Rogan about once every two weeks.

Soder used to co-host The Bonfire with Big Jay Oakerson
And of you can go toe-to-toe with Jay. . .you are something.
I think Taylor Tomlinson and Adrienne Iapalucci deserve a mention here
Adrienne's "Baby Skeletons" is everything Jeselnik used to be.
And also Kathleen Madigan isn't just the funniest woman alive, she is one of the top 10 funniest comedians to ever do it.

John Pinette
Pinette was great but no more new material from the guy since he's now dead.
Another one, also dead, that I liked was Richard Jeni.
Jeff Allen is still alive and is a great comedian. Funny as hell and doesn't resort to crude material or gratuitous amounts of foul language to get the laughs.

this right here - I have been a fan since I saw her open for Howie Mandel years ago in Atlanta - she is fricking hilarious.
if her set on the Missouri Noodlers Association doesn't make you laugh.....I don't know what to say.

I agree on Kathleen Madigan. Her material is spot on and very relatable.
Also I was a huge John Pinette fan (no pun intended).

Josh Sneed.
I remember randomly seeing a CC special of his and it was absolutely hysterical. His sense of humor came off exactly like me and my friends. I've seen clips of him here and there over the years and he cracks me the frick up. I assume most people have never even heard of him.
Just looked it up and apparently you can watch his CC Presents" special on Paramount+. I'm about to watch it now.
