1. Dark and gritty reimagining of fairytales or classic novels.
2. YA dystopian books/movies that start off with interesting concepts but end up about them trying to overthrow the government/system.
3. Zombie movies or shows where "humans are the real monsters."

Homely leads. Just stop. Actors and actresses should be attractive. You arent "pushing boundaries" youre checking boxes.
Most sports movies. Cant get past all the inaccuracies and downright impossibilities.

The Thing was great. As was Invasion of the Body Snatchers. The many many since that have just recycled that type of plot are boring.
