I failed to consider this. I was thinking movies I wanted to watch.
This means that I have watched The Little Mermaid more than any movie in history. My eldest daughter wore out 2 VHS and then we got DVD. The child was obsessed and could act out every scene with every line of dialogue memorized. Got a lot of reading in during this phase of life.

Came here to post Goodfellas. Then Godfather I and II and Caddyshack.

So many, too many movies are rewatchable and at age 71 I can’t say which ones are my favorite. Just about all mentioned in this thread.
But there is one that got me going at age 7 and that was To Hell And Back — the story of Audie Murphy. Lost count after 30 viewings. And that was before streaming and DVD.

It's either Top Gun or Goonies for me. Not sure which.
Star Wars or Back to the Future also up there.

Think i could watch shawshank every week for the rest of my life and it would be ok. I actually watched it like 4 days ago for like the 40th time. Now i did fast forward a few slow parts but the last 20 to 30 mins are a must.

Fear and Loathing. Watch it a few times a year still and easily watched it 200 times in the military.
