Gracias. Sorry for the "Hey, fricker" thing. Of course, you'll have the good taste not to mention that I spoke to you.

Hey, fricker. Lets keep movie shite out of here or with at the least a spoiler tag. Not everyone wants the movie information.

So, what? We are supposed to go watch the 43 year-old movie to spoil the show? That's stupid.

They share a name in common, that's about it.
I mean, old movie spoilers are fair game, that decision was made a long time ago.

Yet, he is basing theories off of it. If thats the case, then he or you should start a thread about theories about the show based on the movie. This is clearly an episode/tv show thread.

By whom? And I asked for a spoiler tag, not for his banishment.
ETA: at least we stopped talking about multiple time lines for almost a page.

That was actually very nice and believeable. But I think mauve is pretty trusting to the guests. I mean she's obviously not mad at the butchers she just wants a way out. At least that's what I took from the previews.

I have mixed feelings about this. It's an older movie that has a relatively large cult following. The show is based on the movie. I don't know why any talk about a work on which the series is based would be banned.

I thought it was similar to ASOIAF and Game of Thrones, so I didn't want anything spoiled. If I am wrong, then post away.

I could be wrong but I think this is more like 70s Battlestar Galactica and 2000s Battlestar Galactica. So far the show is so different and more sophisticated than the movie (which I like) that I doubt it could possibly give anything away.

I've looked at it from a Jurassic Park v Jurassic World perspective. In relation to the movie and series.

That last train scene was pretty wild. Did they show Delores in the train by herself? Or did I make that up?
Ok... So I went back and watched this episode again and caught a few things I didn't catch the first time. I'm not saying this is proof of "multiple timelines" but it does make one question the sequence of events being shown.
First example, Bernard's right hand woman spots the body of the rogue host and asks the transporters where it is being transported to...they respond with "livestock" and then the "incinerator". She then says to herself, "frick it" and shows up in the livestock area wearing completely different clothing. Could be nothing, could be a mistake, or could be something more...
What is more fascinating is that Delores is on that train by herself. We see William and Lawrence sit down on the opposite side of the coffin marked with the maze symbol. Lawrence asks William if he wants some of that swill as they cut back to Delores. Whenever they pan back to her, you can clearly see that neither Lawrence or William are present in the shot.
I think she is having flashbacks to old reveries that Arnold uploaded to her - showing her how to reach the maze. She is remembering William & Lawrence on the journey but is acting it out alone as William & Lawrence aren't actually there with her. Or at least that's my best guess.
Any ideas?

Also, sorry for the shitty pictures. I was taking pictures of my tv from my iphone.
I'm sure someone on Reddit has pointed this out already and they have actual screenshots of the show to prove it.

no sconces in the first two pictures, then sconce reflections in the second two. We're obviously dealing with multiple timelines.

I think it's the opposite. William and Lawrence are there in that timeline but she's remembering when you see her "alone". Like the scene where Anthony Hopkins talks to her and when he leaves the room she's talking to "someone" while she's "alone" (I'm assuming she talking to Arnold who is imbedded in her AI memory).

So she was remembering interactions between William and Logan (I believe that was the bro-in-law's name) of which she was not a part just for the sake of confusing the viewing audience?
