Just wish they'd have put it somewhere more interesting
That is all kinds of interesting.

I agree. That'll teach his arse a lesson. But I think that should also happen to any parent who names their kid something stupid like Aspen.

Seemed like she wanted him to PIIHerB.
He seemed a little too freaked out by that to be the case. Whatever happened, she "snuck" it up on him and spooked him
I don't want to go into graphic detail, but it seems a little hard for her to sneak PIIHerB on him

"Aspens a boys name?!" Was another great line

she could have yelled "STICK IT IN MY arse!"
which could have surprised him a bit

the city manager's ransacked home was full of lurid and weird art / items.
I find it interesting that the three central characters all have some sort of issue regarding "sex." In a way, they could all be tied to it.
McAdams because of her leaning towards being a bit non-typical in the sack.
Taylor with having to take some blue pill encouragement. PTSD could be a cause, or maybe he is involved in just a bit more. remember..he is being investigated for a ticket trade off.
Colin...hasn't dated in over a year per convo with VV. Wife was raped by someone involved with the organized crime in the area. Casper's privates were mutilated.(which is punishment for rape in many cultures)

I don't think yelling like that is part of her personality
If so, that dude is a huge bitch.

I was saying the same thing last night. They all have something sexual in common. Farrell's wife raped. McAdams' sister doing porn too. Missing girl is young and super hot.
It makes me think the overarching crime stuff here is going to involve something like Alex trafficking.

didnt he let the girl blow him that he pulled over in the red convertible? or did i misinterpret that? didnt they put him on desk duty because of that?
also completely unrelated, but is the spanish girl that was cleaning the bar the same one McAdams is looking for that went missing?

She clearly offered it to him, and then whenever he declined, she told the police that he was the one that solicited her

Anyone think Farrell didn't kill the rapist back in the day or he somehow fricked it up and VV's character took care of it?
They seem to have a mutually beneficial relationship, so perhaps that was just the start of it and CF's character still works with him for the $$$$. Present day CF's character would have been able to do it as evidence of how he beat the shite out of the bully's dad, but wonder about flashback CF.

A corporation that masquerades as a city is a great backdrop. It's something that is so out there that it makes almost no sense until you look into it.

McAdams works for the county, right? I was wondering why she would get called Farrell works for the city but McAdams partner didn't know about this city? that didn't make sense to me and Kitsch works for the highway patrol
So CHP and Kitsch made discovery, it's McAdams county jurisdiction but Farrell's missing person case from Vinci. They all gonna have to work together while realizing how fricked up each other are.
Actually huge error on the part of the writer. The body was found in Ventura, which is in Ventura county lol. La county sheriffs don't have jurisdiction there. McAdams character shouldn't be there, unless she was already involved with the case (like Farrell already was)

Vernon has a history of political problems, and was fighting disincorporation after city-government corruption was discovered.[7] California Assembly Speaker John A. Pérez has proposed legislation, AB46, to disincorporate cities with fewer than 150 residents.[8] Vernon is the only city that would be affected by the bill.[9]
quote:
The population was 112 at the 2010 United States Census, the smallest of any incorporated city in the state (and the nearest to downtown Los Angeles).
quote:
In the last few weeks of the legislative session of summer 2011, a team of attorneys and lobbyists from Vernon were desperately trying to kill the bill that would disincorporate the scandal-tainted city when state Senator Kevin de Leon (D-Los Angeles) came to them with a creative and unconventional offer.[11] De Leon, who had earlier supported disbanding Vernon, said he would help to defeat the legislation if Vernon would set aside $60 million in order to fund community projects in the small, working-class cities that surround Vernon and to also agree to a proposed list of government reforms.[11]
Vernon agreed to the offer, and de Leon then proceeded to support the groups fighting disincorporation. City officials in nearby Huntington Park, which stood to receive some of Vernon's grant money, also reversed their support to the City of Vernon.[11] On August 29, the state Senate rejected the bill to disband Vernon.[12]

Yep. I doubt he did anything with the chick as we saw, he needs Viagra to get started, so I highly doubt he did anything with her.
She's just being a bitch.
