List is invalid without TLJ.

Sure, many of these are just bad movies but TLJ had such high expectations going into it as it had been set up, and it broke Star Wars for much of the fan base.

As a kid, I loved league of extraordinary gentlemen. Haven’t seen it in forever though.

In terms of disappointing, Prometheus & Quantum of Solace top the list for me. I was so pumped for both of these & they both massively failed. Quantum due to writer's strike so it gets somewhat of a pass. Prometheus had sooo much potential but couldn't get out of it's own way with ridiculously inane characters.

Anchorman 2

For sure .

This was dreadful.

Thought about walking out in the theater

I remember I had a Toxicology exam that Friday morning... so pumped to see the sequel that afternoon and it was onscreen diarrhea

10. Prometheus (2012)

owns this list, but mostly because Phantom Menace misses the category by one year.

No Star Wars movies on the list???

Not one????

Maybe they weren’t considered “disappointing” because we all kind of knew they would suck.

The Last Jedi would be my personal #1 as well. Like you said, The Force Awakens left people feeling excited. The Last Jedi killed the franchise for many people (including myself).

Was vanilla sky that hyped up? I really enjoyed that movie. Penelope Cruz wasn’t great in it, but Cameron Diaz is surprisingly good. A batshit crazy girl must be her niche lol
