I disagree that Green Lantern belongs on this list. It perfectly captured the spirit and essence of the Silver Age GL comics. So it really sits atop my list of favorite/best DC comics movies. Yes I am a Boomer. Get over it kiddies.

You're entitled to your opinion but damn that is a sizzling take. I have one friend who argues with everyone that GL was a great movie. Only person I've ever met in person make that claim. Y'all should hang out.

BvS was pretty good with some questionable storytelling decisions. Justice League was the disappointment

Sure, many of these are just bad movies but TLJ had such high expectations going into it as it had been set up
After the piece of shite TFA, I think most of us knew TLJ would suck. I had very low expectations, as it was obvious that these people can't make a good movie to save their lives. Though it didn't even live up to that, the fact that I never expected it to be good makes it impossible to disappoint me.

i watched it recently, and enjoyed it immensely more than i did in theaters. however, the Bourne-esque action scenes just really drag the whole thing down.

i mean, that intro gives me headache just thinking about how many edits were made, and how little time your brain had to focus. all the action scenes are like that.

its kindof a chore to watch. tho, on the whole, i thought the story was good.

anchorman 2 was good

It was actually a legitimately funny movie for about 35 minutes and then it completely goes off the rails and then it just explodes. The blind lighthouse shark thing was so bizarre I had to rewatch the movie to make sure I didn’t imagine that shite

Prometheus was good and anyone who thinks otherwise was just expecting another movie.

If they ever actually make a sequel about the engineers it could be the greatest sci-fi film of all-time.

I get this, but it really wasn't all that awful of a movie. The hype killed it from day one, but it is nowhere near the most disappointing of the century.

Agree that The Last Jedi is far and away #1.

Also missing is The Counselor. Written by Cormac MacCarthy, directed by Ridley Scott, starring Michael Fassbender at the peak of his hot streak.

Knight of Cups and To the Wonder belong as well.

I don't know about great...but I like both of these movies.

They don't belong on the OP list.

The first Hobbit movie was great. The last two were garbage. But I guess that's what happens when you throw in a new director mid production, give him strict time limits and insufficient funds.
