I honestly can’t think of any actor with a more rewatchable lineup of movies than Tom Cruise, and it’s not even close.

Some of my favorites:
The Day After Tomorrow
Days of Thunder
Top Gun
Risky Business
The Color of Money

Edge of Tomorrow lol

That was a highly underrated and unpublicized movie.

For someone that has been in Hollywood for over 40 years, his number of box office misses are incredibly few.

My top 5 acting performances would be:

Last Samurai
Collateral
Edge of Tomorrow
A Few Good Men
Jerry Maguire

There are so many good movies though - it's tough to pick the top 5.

This 1000x. It's ironic that Spielberg is known for getting the best performances from child actors in his career and that's what he got from those two. 15 mins in and I wanted to gift-wrap those brats to the aliens.

More than once it took me out of the movie. You have these cataclysmic events unfolding and the princess and her big brother are doing their little Lamaze breathing crap? FFS, that's not how humans work. Even little kids!

Oh, and then for no damn reason, knowing what he's already seen, the son decides to ignore 'Ray' and run off to see what's on the other side of the hill. BS. No chance that happens, but the movie NEEDED even more drama.

F off, film.
