Everyone except Tozawa. Wasn’t the biggest fan of that last episode, a lot of stupidity throughout. And what’s up with Samantha still being able to manipulate everyone.

Started watching this after reading through this thread, and I was hooked after the first episode. It's really well done.
The last couple episodes were wild, and I hope Sato isn't dead. Can't wait to see how it wraps up.

I didn't get that either, or why she would even believe that idiot for a second and empty out her bank account basically. And no way would a clan leader ever give out a loan to a jumpstart club.

Well, Ansel Elgort just go me too'd for allegedly assaulting underage girls, so he may or may not have a career for a bit or ever. Which really sucks, because this show is awesome.
That last episode killed me. Give me at least some sort of resolution. I'm okay with some cliffhangers, but don't leave 100% of things unresolved. Too many good shows these days never come back to answer the questions. They just get cancelled and we're left unresolved.

While he wasn't terrible, his acting skill was a bit of a drag on the shows overall quality. The show improved as it became less Jake focused over time.
I almost bailed midway through episode 3 because of that gaijin

The public allegations against him were made in 2020. Unless there is some new development, seems like a non-issue for the casting.

Fine dining was great but what surprised me was the great food across the board. You could buy a noodle bowl from 7-11 and it would taste very good. I had a burger at TGIF that tasted amazing. They have strict laws around good quality, additives etc that are the likely reason

The food I had while in Japan was amazing at every level. Fine dining, street food, American style food near the military bases.

Finally watched the fist episode before going to bed last night. Liked it a lot. I know Jake has a long way to go to get to the first scene in the episode. Not only does he have to earn respect from the Yakuza people, he has a daunting task just to prove himself to his co-workers. Look forward to seeing all of that!
