Looked like the Black Panther in that one shot of the acrobatic jump and thrust a spear move. Or maybe the Brad Pitt version of Achilles.

Not sure about the guy using a sling shot though. Would that be a viable zombie apocalypse weapon?

Good to see Shane again. And I know he’s sort of a favorite around here, but I can’t stand John Bernthal. I think he’s an awful actor. But he was good in this one. And asking about Judith was cold blooded and awesome.

Why the hell did Negan talk shite to Maggie about killing her father? “Your old man...I forgot his name again....killing him the way I did...” What the frick??

And as usual, this show is all talk. Maggie should very clearly kill him and move the frick on. Hell, even Michonne is on board. But nah, he plays to her emotions for ten seconds and she spares him. I have a feeling Negan is playing her like a fiddle. There’s no reason to keep him alive this long just to have him rot in a cell. He must be playing the long game or something.

Herschel. I didn’t realize that Scott Wilson just died a few weeks ago.

Sasha. BOOOOOOO. She sucks.

I hate when TWD tries to get all overly symbolic and whatever. This is basically the equivalent of a clip show so we can see old characters so far. The one thing that should’ve happened (Negan getting offed), didn’t.

Rick can barely walk or do anything, but good to see he can still pop off headshots like it’s no big deal.

Now everybody shows up? So he’s still dreaming. I’m gonna be pretty pissed if he is just dreaming all of this and is still on the rebar from the beginning of the episode.

Oh yay, more Rick/Michonne forced relationship shoved in my face.

At this point he has to be dreaming since he’s lost about 37 gallons of blood.

These zombies have some super fresh haircuts. And I love how Darryl give no fricks about his arrows/bolts anymore.

And of course Rick lives. frick AMC for trying to market this like he dies (I know they said his last episodes, but they did that shite on purpose for ratings). What a weird fricking ending. Chopper to God knows where. And now Judith is taking out walkers from the tree line with a fricking pistol? Okay. And let’s ignore that this six year old girl can wield a .357 Magnum at all. frick you, show.

And it’s funny seeing how easily and unbelievably they kill walkers now. These frail women are beating walkers with giant stones that they wield like they are made of paper. It is distracting. And that’s the dude from Balls of Fury. Awesome.

And they are losing Rick to replace him with fricking Judith? No thanks. I hope there’s more to it than that. And now the walkers are evolving? I guess this is the beginning of the show’s final downfall. If it gets too overly ridiculous, people may finally stop watching.

Those previews had a completely different and weird feel to it.

I'm just assuming because the herd was walking past them at the time while they were hiding in the ditch covered in mud.

That kinda bothered me. Since when does mud keep them away? Have we seen that before? I know we’ve seen the “cover yourself with blood and guts” strategy, but mud? Are these Predator zombies now?

And good call from whoever asked why there was dynamite on the bridge in the first place. I hadn’t thought about that but it makes sense to question it.

And it sucks that Rick abandoned the “we need to save the bridge” plan. He just fricked everyone else a good bit. Walkers can simply be led away with random noises or a slow jog. No need to waste the bridge.

He wants to die / be killed. He cannot stand being in jail. So, he tried to antagonize her to kill him.

She saw he is punished MORE by being broken / in solitary confinement. So, she realized it was more cruel to make him live.

Now, as you noted, he MIGHT be playing her and read her correctly. But, from HER point of view, she is being more cruel than killing him.

Oh I completely get what they were going for. I just think it was kinda stupid, that’s all.

And I just hate that they’ve kept Negan on the show and that is all he is good for. It doesn’t make much sense unless there are other big things coming for him. Otherwise they could’ve just killed him off and given fans some good television (instead of having Rick say 15 times that he’s gonna kill Negan and then not have the balls to do it when that time comes).

He was talking about Glenn - someone's "old man" or "old lady" is slang for an SO, it's a 70's, biker thing.

exactly what I was thinking.

There is a whole herd coming at rick. So, it is not like "I'll kill those 4 or 5 and go retrieve my bolts.

And, once he shoots the first few and Rick just kinda stands there waving him off - I'd say "well, frick you then"

AND...why did ALL of the group go BEHIND the herd to distract them. No one tried to get to RICK and help him get away?

silliness

There was a river in the way. They were on the other side of it BUT... that begs the question of how the hell Darryl got on the side with Rick. That whole scene was a mess.

I thought they all walked up there together. The group was there when Daryl started shooting. Maybe, I am wrong

No. I think you are right but then all of a sudden they were BEHIND the herd which means the other side of the bridge. Like I said, the scene was a mess from that perspective.

"Old man" refers to her husband, Glenn.

Do you not know any bikers?

I think he was trying to make her swing so he could kill her in "self-defense."

Which, actually, it would have been. And she was stupid to face him alone. Even malnourished Negan would wipe his arse with her.

There obviously is or else there would be no point to keep giving him scenes.

The plan was to turn the herd around before it got to Rick because whether they saved Rick or not, they couldn't have the herd continue on that path.

That’s what I thought at first but they had literally just talked about him. And she had literally just told him his name.

Old lady = significant other. Old man usually means father.

I’m sure he was talking about Glenn, but it just seemed really odd.

Agree with that. That bothered me too. I was thinking she and Michonne would’ve struggled against him, but she went in there alone and was throwing him around and stuff. Girl power I guess. I know he was locked up for a year and a half, but the motivation of freedom is a hell of an adrenaline boost I’d imagine.

Am I the only one who thought they did a terrible arse job on trying to make the river look realistic?

In other news, I’m glad I read the comics so I know what’s ahead. It’s gunna be badass!
