People have been mentioning that group for a while. I know very little about the comics, but I've known about them, and Gimple mentioned them by name in the last TD episode. I think they've just given up on the surprise. Plus, roles have been cast.
Maggie's fate should be a surprise for everyone, though. I don't think Cohan's other projects will last long, so we'll see if they leave her open-ended for the movies or future seasons like with Rick.
