I enjoy reading your summaries, but lately all you do is bitch about the show bud.. I’m not trying to be inflammatory, or start an argument, but how can you possibly enjoy hate-watching a show so much??
Hopefully you like the new direction TWD seems to be headed in...
Unfortunately, between TD, and another site, I’ve learned about a few spoilers, and let’s just say that things are about to get really interesting

I plan on sticking with it as long as I can, man. I've been with it since the pilot, and although I bitch about it way more than I praise it, it's still something I enjoy watching for the most part believe it or not. i agree with hangover. I was just watching the chow because i try to finish every show i start. but reading ahead, the big thing you are bitching about isnt too far fetched for a zombie show. I want to see how they introduce it. I just dont want them to take a whole fricking season for the introduction like they did with the negan war.

I think zombies evolving and "getting smarter" is a stupid idea. But at the same time, I am all for them trying to change some things up a bit and go away from the same wash, rinse, repeat cycles they have been throwing at us for years now.
If it's too stupid for me to handle, then I will walk. But I am willing to give it a chance.

in short: this storyline is interesting enough to bring me back in , and I dropped off because the show was getting boring/dumb

its possible that eugene may have garbled something about it, i dont remember
a couple of episodes ago they were thinking of how to handle the herd
someone had the idea to lead them to the bridge, blow it, and have them taken out to sea
i know rick threw away the idea because he didn't want to lose the bridge, even though they felt they were gonna lose it anyway
i assume the dynamite was staged there just in case that plan had to be put into action

I was already losing interest after Carl got written out. Losing Rick just made it what's the point for me.
The comics did that to me too. Between the prison and Negan I just didn't care.
But losing out on the Carl and Rick and Negan stuff after all out war just makes me eh.

The show has been better, but I’m still not on board with people talking about how great the season has been. I binged the last 4 episodes. I found them incredibly boring, with scenes that were drawn out and meaningless.
I was super interested in what is coming next, then the previews showed badass Judith and really annoying Michonne, and that ruined any excitement I had.

Im not sure they are "getting smarter" or "evolving"... I think thats probably something ricks group is misinterpreting as some thing from the group we are going to encounter in the next few episodes.

Carl was one of the many things I disliked about the show. I was hoping it would improve after he was gone.
