Are there people who didn't think that Kim would be in the last episode?

I felt the cartel portion of the show was superior to BB. I had trouble buying into Walt and his faux badass persona while characters like Lalo and Nacho were very believable.
Agree. I've said from the beginning that a back story of Gus, Mike, and the cartel would have been better w/ Saul a collateral story instead of the lead.

I can’t ignore the Gene in the grave shot
He dead

Saul won't survive in Prison either. He knows too much and pissed off too many dangerous people.
We've already seen in this universe how easy it is to kill other inmates, even ones on solitary.

Who would that be?
Not doubting you. I just thought everyone who would care is dead.

Definitely.
Those character's backstories would be much more interesting than Jimmy's law career struggles.

Was Ham right about Kim & Ice Station Zebra?
this has been one of the lamest of all his talking points
We have seen, clearly in front of us on the screen, that:
-ISZA exists
-that is the loanout for shady business dealings
-that kim and jimmy both like the movie
The fact that the company is called ISZA doesn't mean a got damn thing. It doesn't prove anythign. It doesn't solve anything. It's an absolute nothing burger.

The cartels didn't disappear because the people we have met are mostly dead.

I actually like this route. I mean he is slippin Jimmy.

True. Did he damage the cartels though to the extent they’d care.
I watch the show and like it, but I don’t follow the intricacies.

I'm not sure he did. He was a friend of the cartel in BCS. He helped get Lalo out of jail.
Then in BB it's Gus who did the real damage to the cartel. He never worked directly for Gus. He did work directly for the guy that killed Gus though.
Edit, well directly for the guy that sets up Gus to die. Hector of course detonated the bomb.

Do we just have an hour episode tonight?
Posted on 8/15/22 at 12:11 pm to Tortious
Checked to make sure I had it DVRing for tonight and the episode appears to be about 90 minutes , maybe a few longer if you add in the credits
Posted on 8/15/22 at 12:33 pm to Lawyered
AMC is starting the catch-up marathon at 1:40PM with Episode 8, Point & Shoot, through to the finale. In case anyone needs to fill up their dvr.

I believe that it's a 100 minute series finale.

My bold prediction for tonight's episode.
We spend most of the episode in the Breaking Bad timeline, seeing how Kim was really the woman behind the mask and pulling the Saul Goodman strings during Breaking Bad.
Then, suddenly, the screen cuts to black and for the last 10 minutes Ham is on the screen reading aloud the name of each poster that talked shite on him for the last handful of years.

Not sure what else there is to explore in that timeframe unless there is something interesting about her six years in Florida.

In a “talking Saul” parody, it’s called “what’s shakin Bacon” and it’s Ham recapping from the start all the Easter eggs that lead us through the entire show
