Maybe it's just me but I'm apathetic at this point. Last few episodes just kind of soured me.

Now Saul/Jimmy is just a real bad guy and not a fun trickster/lawyer type.

I like the perspective that the series “real” ending was when Kim left, and we’re getting something of an epilogue at this point. Makes me appreciate it a bit more, at least.

I agree, but that still doesn't make for compelling TV though. I'm not even sure what could rebound the last 3/4 episodes for me, but I am hopeful that something will.

My wild theory: Marion is Kim's mother, Jeffy is Kim's neer-do-well idiot brother/half-brother. Kim bailed on Mom but Jeffy's constant brushes with the law attracted her to the legal profession. We know the rest of the story.

Marion is the hub to this wheel.

K = J + M.

POSSIBLE SPOILER

Bob Odenkirk was interviewed prior to S6B and said we had seen Carol Burnett's character before.

One more hour of new content from the Breaking Bad universe. It’s nothing but rewatches after this.

Here are my guesses:

1)We see Saul and Kim post-black/white. Back in color as their true selves.
2)Marion gets on the news as the person who caught Saul Goodman. Jeffie is interviewed too as a person taken in by the infamous con man.
3) Saul tries to get vacuumed, but it doesn't work so he gets captured, goes to jail and just continues his scammer lawyer behavior in the clink. He may even get that former prosecutor turned defense attorney to defend him.
4)Kim doesn't do time, but she ends up back in ABQ working as a counselor or something for the indigent trying to redeem herself for her past behavior.

Mondays episode was really good. I agree that the previous two were a snooze.

That's a terrible take. That is as bad as everyone in the Star Wars universe being related to the Skywalker family.

It cheapens the integrity if the story in my opinion.

In a country of 300 million people, you mean to tell me that Saul just happens to run in to Jeffie, Kim's half brother, in Omaha in a mall???

Do you guys think Gene's scenes will move to color at some point?

Check your sarcasm detector. I was having a little fun at Ham's expense.

That's a good question. Since he's been offically outed to law enforcement, I think they could potentially show him in color. His cover is blown and now there's light shed on him and who he really is.

That would be confusing at this point.

Agree. And the reason I was skeptical about a Saul spinoff when it was announced years ago is because I didn't think Odenkirk could carry a show. They surrounded him with amazing co-stars in addition to legendary BB characters so he didn't have to, now everybody is gone and I'm just not all that sucked in by watching Odenkirk/Saul/Jimmy/Gene tool around like has been going on lately. Outside of him getting his head blown off it just feels like the ending will be "well, there it is"
