Absolutely, especially if you work in an office environment (although that is not a requirement).
Also, don't listen to people saying to skip S8. There is definitely a large drop in quality there, no question. But it still has some moments and gradually finds its footing again. Plus, Robert California (James Spader) is a pretty great character.
S9 rebounds pretty well and the last 1/3 of that season or so is solid, and the finale is excellent.
Plus, I'm generally just not a fan of skipping shite if you're watching something for the first time.

Yes, until Michael leaves.
I concur. The best ones were the Michael years.
I mean, don't get me wrong...there are some good episodes after Michael leaves but your talking about a 2 to 1 ratio on blah vs. good. You have to trudge through some meh to get to the hahas. Any episode with Robert California is great.

It's one of the greatest sitcoms of all time. Season 1 is funny, but they are still finding their feet. Season 2-4 is just some of the best comedy you'll see. And the show is very rewatchable too.

i will alternate between this and Parks and Rec if I can't find something I want to watch.

One of the best comedies ever once it hits its stride in season 2. With that said lots of bad characters throughout the show and the show goes down after Michael leaves. Pam and Jim were great then they sucked.
Overall Parks and Rec is a better show than the Office. The office had better highs but if you talk consistency and characters and overall story Parks and Rec edges it out IMO.

I'll echo the opinion that you should stop when Michael Scott leaves. Show was already on fumes at that point. The final few seasons are an embarrassment.

I watched a few episodes in high school and HATED it. I watch it whenever it comes on though and I really do like it. Haven't seen every episode though especially one after the other but at some point I will.

It’s fine
It gets a little too overhyped though and people make it their personality

Don't miss "The Negotiation"

It’s the best episode of the series, but it’s very far from the cringiest.
Scott’s Tots is by far the most cringy

agreed. P&Rs valley is a 70 but it's peak is a 92. Office is 40 and 100.
Also, you like everybody in Parks and Rec. Hell even Jamm gets a happy ending.

Do the UK version. You'll be spoiled.

Prison Mike episode is the peak of humanity.

I agree with most of this except for Billy Eichner's character. I hate that guy in pretty much everything he's done though.

Yes, you won’t be disappointed at all.
Benihana Christmas and Phyllis’s wedding are underrated in the cringe category. Benihana might be my favorite episode.
The absolute worst stretch was when Nellie “takes over” the manager position when Andy is chasing Erin in Florida, and the majority of the office just goes with it including California. It was just bad tv.
Season 9 was pretty enjoyable once they kinda figured it out post Michael leaving.
