Just another reminder that the media refuses to tell the truth.

Everything Everywhere All At Once only made $105 million and it’s a masterpiece. A24s highest grossing movie. A niche movie is going to have a low box office, regardless of its quality

90 percent of film discussion on this board is axe-grinding about culture war horseshite.
For what it's worth, a few weeks ago when the thread was up on the board, those who had seen it reported back it was actually pretty good.

I was going to say that thread had 3-4 folks that saw it and enjoyed it.

Politics are making people miserable. Or, at least more miserable than they need to be.

It only has that rating from "critics" not the audience scores.
The CinemaScore is the audience score smart guy.

it's not even a true story. The women actually were slavers, not freaking hero's
I'm sure you rail against the same issues in movies like The Patriot, or Braveheart, or The Last Samurai. You just want accuracy in movies. Your ire has nothing to do with anything else I'm certain.

Did any of those movies re-arrange history to paint slavers in a good light as heroes?

It was well made. I had no regrets buying a ticket
