The last one was the helicopter pilot, maybe he's collecting the heads of people that he has to kill to keep control?

they seem really interested in finding rick's group. I'm guessing they want their supplies or something. But how much shite can you expect to get from a small non military group?

Either that or he wants their women and children.

He had Michonne's two zombie heads with the cut off jaws in there. He didn't kill them.

And to eliminate another possible threat.

I believe he sees the walkers as a controllable nuisance to some extent, but sees other humans as the true threat. Which is pretty much correct after a while when you've spent a lot of time mowing down walkers and building up your defenses the threat they pose diminishes.

Something that annoyed me: *spoilers from the episode ahead*:

Maybe it is just me, but did it feel like The Governor was evil for the sake of being evil? I already knew he would be the villain based on the trailer, but I thought they would allow you to understand his side, instead of how they introduced him the way they did. I am probably getting ahead since it is only the 3rd episode in the season, but the writing has been annoying me these last two episodes. Seriously, out of all the townspeople, no one questioned why all of the those trained soldiers were "bitten" yet had all of there guns and supplies perfectly in tact and only a day went by? Maybe it is explained later, but it annoys me now.

food in their belly, clothes on their back, the occasional hot shower. ignorance is bliss.

But really Lori? You're getting beast fricked out in the grass by your husband's best friend. The grieving process only takes a month (regardless of how fricked this situation is). Im not saying she couldnt move on. Im not saying if 10 months passed there's anything wrong with hooking up. But damn...Like I said in the other TWD thread...Lori enjoyed the sex, like she wanted to screw Shane for a long time (before the zombies showed up)

As stated above, it's not like he was a stranger. Also things with Rick weren't exactly great before the ZA. Things were headed for divorce anyway.

Also, one of the heads in one of the containers was moving...its mouth was opening and closing (like it was trying to bite). I thought that was weird.

When they showed Michonne's zombies in the lab, their heads were on the table still moving their mouths and eyes.

Rick's group looks like they are going to be seriously outnumbered when they cross paths with the Gov. Plus Gov has heavier firepower. No bueno.

As long as they still have Hershel's 50-round shotgun they'll be good.

I don't know...they were hooked up to wires and shite, kinda like that weird Russian dog head experiment. I took it as they were "dead" because they were decapitated, but were still moving because of the wires.

I don't know. They put that much effort into the walls and defenses. They may have ways of thinning out groups before they get to the fences or strategic choke points to pin walkers in and kill them more easily without burning up ammo.

But they've been killing them for a while. Every 4 or 5 they kill out there randomly means there are a few less to join a horde.

ETA: also, from the Governor's perspective, he may not know about the three big hordes that Rick's group encountered. Since Rick and them were on the move for 8 months and the Governor's town has been stationary. They may never have faced them.

Their defenses looked pretty solid. I'm surprised they didn't utilize a moat somehow. (Sorry I couldn't resist)

Michonne is right to be wary and will redeem herself when it hits the fan later on. Andrea is dumb and gullible and will probably cost more lives.

The Governor is a great character and I can't wait to see where it goes with him. Merle is a beast and should provide many great scenes. I hope he sticks around a while.

Just watched the episode

Kinda slow but it was a good introduction episode for the governor. He is an interesting character to say the least.

Looking forward to next weeks episode. Looks pretty intense
