Tyrese doesn't have a clue as to who the governor really is right now. In the preview for next week, it looks like Andrea tries talking to him. Then it showed Tyrese talking to the governor saying something to the effect of "I hope I haven't complicated things" or something like that.

I have a feeling that Andrea won't make it out of Woodbury alive.

The keenen peele guy is a raging racist.

What the frick does it mean..." I got black again" followed by a deeper voice with some kind of "ethnic" twang.

Oh wait he's black therefore he cant be racist.

I thought it was a very good episode. Although I like the episodes with good zombie action or human v human fighting, I don't need those every week.

To me, a lot happened here. Rick and the Gov met face to face. Two of Governors top two lieutanants met two of Rick's top two lieutanants (and interestingly, each had 1 "theoretical or philosophical guy and 1 action or muscle guy), and both pairs seem to hit if off pretty good and find some things in common.

I do think it would be kind of hokey if both the Governor's guy would at some point switch sides. Milton I could kind of see because the seem to be hinting at it pretty heavily.

And of course, the governor's offer of peace for Michonne. I found it interesting but not really surprising that he didn't ask for Merle as well who, according to his version of things was a huge traitor to Woodbury.

I was kind of hoping Rick would make him an offer like "ok - you get Michone but on these terms -"you come to the prison alone and we lock you and Michone in a cell together for as long as you like. No promises what happens after that but you have your opportunity for revenge if that's all you really want."

I thought about an exchange of hostages like in truces in old times but really, there is no one the Governor cares that much about to make a hostage from him effective.

I don't know if its been mentioned already but there was an interview with Kirkman sometime in the last couple of weeks where he did say he doesn't like that the zombie threat has become so "manageable". He said we will be reminded next season how untrue this is.

Great episode IMO.

I thought the whole "one side getting to know the other side" was a little corny, especially Daryl and the Hispanic dude competing at zombie killing, but I understand the point of it.

I do like how it ended, with Gov (whose name we now know is Phillip Davis, right?) planning to attack and Rick basically hyping his troops up for war. I didn't like Rick contemplating the Michonne exchange...he should be too smart for that. He knows Gov will still try to kill them anyway, and even said as much to Herschel. So for him to actually be considering it seems a bit stupid knowing how psycho Gov is.

I figured Gov would want Merle first and foremost, but all he wanted (or pretended to want) is Michonne. Dude must be REALLY pissed about his eye.

Good to see Glenn and Maggie actually show affection to each other...I was beginning to wonder if they were still together or whatever. And for some reason, when they were making out with each other outside in that one scene, I seriously was thinking that one of them was gonna get shot. That scene seemed to be kinda dragging on a little and setting up for something dramatic. But it was just setting up a sex scene.

I think Andrea ends up back with the group, and Cutty (and whatever is left of his group) ends up with Rick and company as well. And to be completely honest, the only reason I'm not sure if Cutty is gonna make it through the war alive is because he's black. I think Andrea makes it because there are lots of storylines they can use with her being that she was from both camps, her relationship with Michonne, etc.

Oh, and looking at that spread of weapons in the prison, they must've taken more than I thought from Morgan. Also, looking at all the walkers inside the gates...I think it'd be smart to round them all up (or lure them out) and release them in the woods surrounding the prison. Would be a solid defense for anyone trying to ambush the prison from the outside.

In the preview for the next season it looked like someone had a horse trailer full of walkers. Not sure which side would use them though.

They always cut their previews to drop in a character saying something that makes you think something is happening that doesn't actually happen. Once the show airs, Tyrese is probably asking for fried eggs rather than scrambled in that scene.

I think knowing what's at stake he has to at least somewhat consider the offer, even if he knows there's a 99.99% chance he's full of shite and will come after them anyway

I think it's more about revenge for killing his zombie daughter.

Or he thinks that Rick would give her up the easiest.....allowing for the ambush.

I think he plans to ambush no matter what, but he wants to personally kill Michonne for what she did to his daughter.

If they got in a fire fight, anyone would have a chance to kill Michonne, and he can't have that happening.

I can agree with that, and I wasn't thinking about the daughter..forgot about that. But still, I'd think he'd want Merle before Michonne.

I was thinking last night about how awesome it would've been if Rick would've just wasted no time and shot Gov in the face and walked out. I know they could've never done that (the showmakers), but it would've been so badass. I mean shite, Rick's wanted to kill him for a few episodes now, and finally is meeting with him face to face.

Gov: "Look, Rick...I cam here for one reason...your surrender."
Rick: "Cool, here you go.." *shoots him in the face

agree. I think it could be that Andrea uses Tyrese to set up the Gov. Who knows though.

He wants to torture Michonne, not kill her, thats what the chair in the preview was for, obviously IMO
