Because it's just not entertaining. I missed one episode, then another, then another. It just snowballed to where I have no desire to catch up.

That is where I am. I have it recorded but don’t really want to watch it right now. But my concern is if I get a few weeks behind then I won’t catch up and will just finally give up on the show. And this thread is not giving my high hopes that I will enjoy the episode. Sucks too because I used to love the show.

Anyone notice (other than me) that there is no more dominate male characters in the show since the Asian woman took over.
Rick is gone, Negan is a gardener, Daryl is in puppy love, Jesus is dead, and the king is broken hearted. The biggest Alpha male is Aaron, who is heart broken over Eric.

Hell, even the alpha females are pussies now, Moshonne and Rosita.

I just caught up on Fear the Walking Dead and it makes the current Walking Dead look like The Sopranos.
That said, I thought the first episode of the new season was solid. Just wish Rick and Carl were around. The show feels soulless without them.

Daryl tossing the ax at a small pine tree that had a group of people fearing their death. More bad writing
I wish everyone would die in this order each episode
Start with Judith

then the latino and preacher
Then Michone
Then a big group of no name regulars and the kids

and the season finale Rick comes back for Negan to kill him
