I really don’t understand why people get so upset about this.

Is another Peter Pan remake that important to you? Just don’t watch the movies you don’t want to see. And let the other people watch the movies they do want to see.

I mean if you subscribe to Disney+, HBO or Netflix, you're still giving money to those who racially swap in the industry.

Yes they are.

You even pay them through Netflxi subscriptions, HBO subscriptions and Disney+ payments.

Byron Bojangles III will be here soon to chastise you for noticing race swaps of established characters in modern media.

Have a white guy play John Shaft and let’s see what happens.

Let’s remake Beverly Hills Cop but with a white cop from Alabama.

if they will do it for fictional characters, what makes you think they won’t go for historical ones next?

Besides the political reasons that are posted daily on this board, there are plenty of rational marketing reasons as well. There was no need to make a Peter Pan movie with a 40 year old Peter Pan and a racially integrated group of Lost Boys, but they did it anyway. In part for similar reasons.

They're not making this stuff for some non-existent audience. They're just not making it for you. (Or for me, for that matter.)

It's amazing the amount of crap on Disney+ that I've been able to not watch.

I think they know they will lose money and are probably backed by Leftist donors that don’t care as long as the agenda is pushed onwards.

What now? Well that’s easy….pay money for stuff that interests you and don’t pay money for the stuff that doesn’t. Life isn’t difficult

Hollywood can't be making money on these rebooted movies. I will go out on a limb and say that they are being subsidized by the feds to feed the masses. It's propaganda to change the overall thinking. They've been doing it since the 60's. The show Dragnet is an example.

Simple.

To help pile on with the other lies and liars (see '1619', 'Hamilton', 'The Wonder Years,') in revising "History" for immediate & future zombie generations.

Bullseye.

Hollywood -- like Network "News," TV programming and WNBA -- have obviously been getting compensated for advancing subversive optics & agendas under-the-table (no matter how much audiences despise it.)

I agree.

A movie biopic on the 0bamas -- starring Katelyn Jenner and Carrot Top shouldn't upset you or anyone else either.

Seems like you should ask the people who've invested millions of dollars to do it, huh?
