So, this show from a few years ago appeared on my Netflix feed. Watched the first episode, and it was really interesting, so did some research.

Lots of reviews say that it is among the best TV shows of all time (hyperbole?), but EVERYONE complains that it was canceled after two seasons (rather than allowing it to run for the 5-season story arc).

So, question to anyone who watched the show: Do I watch the two seasons and enjoy them for what they are, or will the abrupt end make me want to throw heavy items at my television?

Is that the show where Phyllis from the office does a spastic dance? Hard pass.

started out with a lot of promise. Turned into a massive shite show. Awful. Never even tried to watch season 2

Just watched both seasons a few weeks ago. Honestly not still sure how I feel about it. There are some great characters in the show though. It gets pretty complicated in season 2 with alot going on. Worth a watch for sure.

I thought S1 was decent, until the end. I could not get past the ending. It stuck with me. Never tried S2.

one of the weirdest shows I've ever watched.

We only watched the first season tho.

it's a pretty faggy show when the entire concept is explained

So you'll probably love it

Went from weird and intriguing to absolute garbage.

First season was great until the end. Second season was just straight up weird. Imagine it'd be a good watch on mushrooms.

Lower your expectations. I love sci fi. I love mystery.

This show was trash.

It took me a few episodes for me to get into it, but season 1 ended up being really, really good. It's worth the price of admission just for season 1.

As I recall, season 2 went off the rails and was very hard to follow. I don't remember liking (or understanding) season 2 very well. Of course, that was right before I got sober and I was drinking quite heavily at the time, so YMMV.

This. Got sucked in after the first couple episodes while cooking breakfast one Saturday. Next thing you know, it was an all-day binge fest that was totally disappointing. It think it's the way the credits run at different times halfway through each episode. You don't even realize you're halfway through the next episode before you know it, so you keep watching until the end of the episode that never really ends. Sneakily done by the producers of the show at peak binge culture.

I wouldn't watch shows Netflix canceled pre-maturely. It ends on a cliff hanger. The plot is really nuts. And then Netflix canceled 1899 recently. They apparently don't like these quirky shows anymore.

We loved it. I wish they made more seasons.
