The Kevin chili scene
Posted on 6/9/18 at 9:04 pm to _Hurricane_
I just started watching the office recently and my son is hooked now too, so we’re binging together right now. Just started season 4 and thankfully got past the few hour long episodes. Much prefer the shorter format.
I was well aware of the show when it was on and caught a few episodes here and there, but never made the effort to watch. Just had other things going on. The show is SO much better than I thought. I’ve read a good bit of this thread, and instead of it being spoilery it has me looking forward to watching those moments in context. My son and I both love every moment Kelly is on screen - especially the bits with Ryan. She’s hilarious, and it got me watching Mindy Project as well - though I prefer Kelly as a character.
While I regret not watching The Office when it originally aired, I’m glad I get to binge watch and have it all be new to me.

"At Dwight's daycare, a poster for the American hip hop and horrorcore duo Insane Clown Posse is hung on the wall; however, Dwight has scribbled out the words "Insane" and "Posse" to make it fit into the daycare."

The bed bug scene with Dwight where Jim imitates the bed bug strutting away after it bit him.

"Or was it acting smug"
"So smug. Like he thought it was funny"
"Just like a bed bug. Everything's a joke."

From Beach Games:
Michael: Who's ahead in points?
Pam: I think they're even. At various times you gave Jim 10 points, Dwight a gold star, and Stanley a thumbs-up. And I don't really know how to compare those units.
Michael: Well, check to see if there is a conversion chart in the notebook.
Pam: I really doubt it, Michael.
Michael: Please, just check.

We’re having a discussion here at the house whether Kevin has a full set of upper teeth. Thankfully google set the record straight and I won that battle - of course he does. You just rarely see them.
We have little to do on a Sunday rainy afternoon.

In the “Sabre” episode, when Dwight offers Gabe a tray of hot dogs (WTF?). When nobody takes any, Dwight very awkwardly looks around for a place to set it, finally settling on the floor.

This thread should never die. My favorite thing about the show is every time I watch it, I find a certain line that stands out and is even funnier than the 15 previous times I watched the episode.
Latest example- Watching the episode where micheal goes to NYC on V-day to meet the new CFO (David Wallace).
Micheal: “Most people when they come to New York, they go straight to the Empire State Building, that's pretty touristy. I come here (Times Square). Great places to eat. [points] We have Bubba Gump Shrimp, Red Lobster down there. Ya know. This is, this is the heart of civilization, right here. “

Wife and I just finished our 3rd rewatch
I still do the updog bit at work all the time to new people
“Smells like updog in here?”
“What’s updog”
“Not much, what’s up with you?”

Yes, and his favorite spot for slice of pizza in NY is Sbarro.

When Michael was feeling threatened by Ryan (then an intern) getting accepted into business school, he explains how Lebron James and Kobe Bryant didn't go to business school and turned out fine. They went straight from high school to the NBA.

Michael: Come again? That's what she said? I don't know what you're talking about.
Jan: Okay, if I may, he was just telling a joke before, so can we move on to another question?
Lester: Oh, are you sure?
Jan: Uh, yes.
Lester: Can you go back to where this digression began?
Deposition Reporter: [reading off paper] Mr. Schneider: And you were directly under her the entire time? Mr. Scott: That's what she said.
Michael: Well, delivery is all wrong. She's butchering it.

Dwight’s list of weapons scattered all around the office. Mr. A. Knife.
