Boca Tan is probably what a Jewish person gets in the summer.

That's as lazy as the folks who talk about "Vadar" in other SW discussion.

I'm hoping I don't need to watch Boba Fett to understand season 3.
Last 3 episodes are must watch if you dont want to be confused as frick
Then I'm out.
I'm not watching another show just to understand what is happening in this show. This interweaving show trend is completely idiotic.

It's not that complicated to pick it up after the various explanations in this thread. Grogu decided to join Mando instead of continuing his training with Luke. Now, you're caught up.
As for my thoughts on the episode, I wasn't the biggest fan. I think it's because Chubs/Apollo just seems cartoonish to me in most things he's in. It probably has everything to do with him playing himself in Arrested Development. So, him, the Azellans (sp?), and the pirates just created a few too many silly characters in one episode. I'm still very excited for the rest of the season.

Yeah but...Boba Fett episode 6 was just so adorable. I haven't watched 7 yet, but 5 and 6 are truly just Mando pre-episodes. If you don't watch ep 7, you'll miss the best baby Grogu footage.
Also, I was surprised when I looked up during the credits and saw that Flashdance Jennifer Beals is the bar owner/manager at the end of Boba Fett episode 6.

SW has been doing this since 1980. You can watch S3 of Mando without seeing Boba but you will get more out of S3 is you have seen at least the last 3 episodes.
When you realize the last 3 episodes of Boba are basically Mando episodes you will be happy you watched them IMO.

I was replying to the guy from first page with the picture of the colorful speeder bikes in BoBa Fett, I haven’t watched the new Mando yet

Why are so many star wars fans so adverse to watching boba?
For those that followed SW into the EU Boba Fett had a great story arc but I understand why it is hard for those who only had limited interaction with him from the short time on screen in the OT.
He back story could be one of the greatest and probably the one most demanded to see on the big screen over the last 50 decades. He became a legend without being a main character. So the expectation for his show was probably unrealistically going to be met the start but they blew it by just throwing what they did together.
A few highlights from the EU regarding Fett
Becomes the leader of Mandalore
Duels Windu and if not for the Emperor beats him
Duels Vader multiple times
Helps Luke out and Han
trains one of the Solo twins to later fight her brother that became a Sith.
Again in the EU he became a legend and yet his show made him look like a sideshow act.

I can admit Arrested Development has ruined him for me as well, whenever he does something I just keep thinking he can make a stew out of that.

Then don't watch. No one cares
