Those are all original ideas and I don’t recall any of them being overly spiteful. Which is probably why they were successful...
That wasnt Hollywood trying to repurpose established properties simply to stick a middle finger at the male population, then calling us sexist for not showing up in droves to watch it.
Think- Ghostbusters 2016, Ocean’s 8, Captain Marvel, the Force is ‘female’ etc.
Imagine if they just tried to put out a product that had mass appeal. I mean hell... you can make a good movie with a very strong female lead, without being shitty. The problem is being all in your face with overt misandry, whether its in the film, or its a barrage of statements from cast and crew on social media.

I think the issue isn't the films themselves as much as the MARKETING.
People probably wouldn't care about the plots as much if they didn't know the heavy handed feminism being pushed behind it.

I haven't started the newest season yet, but I can tell you that Doctor Who has been telling stories with what would now be considered "Woke" themes since 1966. That tells me your problem is with the female doctor, not the stories themselves.

if that were the case, then Captain Marvel would have tanked
all of the movies you listed in the OP flopped because they were all bad movies and had nothing to do with "woke" marketing

No. If you don't believe me, read reviews on certain episodes after you've watched them. They are getting slammed by audience scores because quality of the plot is simply poor.
I don't care about if the Doctor is Female, but I believe like many others that Whittakers role has really abandoned the character of Dr Who. Even long time fans are not favorable of this series.

Not necessarily BoP was success in the critic and audience scores of RT.
Also CM was an MCU movie, not saying I didn't like it but there was no way it would flop unless Brie Larson kicked a puppy to death

I should have mentioned in my OP that was looking at box office stats. The concern was that BOP was trying to break even.
