BTW if it's female villain I don't see how this meshes with a "physical"foe for Batman to encounter in this one.

You're right but don't forget that we don't know Hardys role in the film yet. From what I'm reading, even he doesn't know much. He might be a villain as well. I'm not buying the rumors of him being Bullock until we see something official.

I'm going to trust Nolan no matter who he picks. When he cast Ledger I thought it was a mistake; turns out he knows more about how to make his Batman films than me.

All of those actresses are great, but I'm still disappointed if the main villain in the next Batman will be a chick. I agree with a previous poster that the actress should be more athletic looking than Knightley or Portman. After seeing The Town, I'm surprisingly leaning towards Blake Lively.

As long as Anne Hathaway and Blake Lively don't get a role I'm good. Anne Hathaway looks like an alien and Blake Lively isn't that great of an actress. Yes, I would bust the bottom out of that in from of my family, but she doesn't need to be in this movie.
The rest I'm ok with, especially Knightley and Watts.
