What she did to herself doesn’t make sense to me, but on the show it’s a mixture of the second and third picture. Mother’s Milk looks more different than she does in Season 4.

Starlight actress ruined her career. When she cried at the end her face barely moved. Looked so fake/terrible
Love how black people can call white people “crackers” and that isn’t racist.

Episode 4 is twisted even for this show.
Starr killed it tonight. Easily the best part of the season so far and cool to get some more backstory on Homela..I mean Squirt.
I had to look away during the lobotomy. I can usually handle gore, but anything happening to eyeballs freaks me out. Sage and Deep together are great though. So was his duet with Firecracker.
Glad to see Huey’s mom finally reveal her purpose and Pegg to start earning his paycheck. Also looks like gay Frenchie storyline will be slightly less gay for an episode at least. Starlight’s reveal is good symbolism for her storyline this season.

If I ever saw Starr in real life I think I'd legit be scared of the dude

It's crazy how much tension he creates just by entering a room.

Ep 4 was really out there which is why I love this freaking show. Sensory overload is best way to describe the show.
Was glad to see Annie get some of that goodie two shoes gimmick pegged down a bit.
It's going to take a few watches to process the glorious insanity of this episode.
I would love to be in the writers room hearing them think shite up. Can you imagine the things they're suggesting that could never be shown on TV?

Maybe the drugs are making him so gay?
Probably a side effect of some vaccine.

Mother's Milk is the black man who is a member of the Boys (the name makes way more sense in the comic).
That's the actress for Starlight.

Episode 4 was really great. I was annoyed at the political stuff in the first 3 episodes more than usual probably just because they weren’t that great honestly. But when the Boys is at its best, it’s great TV whether I agree with Kripke or not. Hope it keeps rolling with the tension.

It didn't make sense. I thought he was going to end up with Kimiko. But instead he went full on gay.
In the comics Frenchie has a hetero relationship in his backstory (covered in one issue) and he offers himself to Kimiko (only really referred to as "The Female" or "The Asian" in the comics as she has no means to communicate, really... she only speaks one time) but she turns him down for fear that she would end up hurting or killing him. He accepts the answer and that's as far as we get as far as his sexuality.
It is odd that they don't even hint that he's gay/bi in previous seasons (or maybe they did and I missed it). I'd say bi because his only relationship previously is with Little Nina (who is MASSIVELY different from the comics, where she has absolutely no connection with Frenchie).

Is anyone else just completely bored with the subplots both new and old. Some have dragged and others feel pointless. Homelander is the only one saving this show for me.

He's definitely the most interesting character arc so far.
Butcher was, but he feels like he's taking a back seat this season.
A-Train is kind of interesting, and The Deep is being carried by a good actor but hard to sympathize with.
Child acting is hit-or-miss, so the plot around Homelander's son feels just... rough. I can't help but think the actor is part of the issue.
About the only characters I feel like I give a shite about this season are Komiko, Homelander, and A-Train. Everyone else feels kind of tacked on.

When that elevator was going down to the bottom I knew what was coming, I just didn’t know how it would unfold. Homelander just toying with the people that put him through hell as kid, and those same people knowing they were already dead was great TV.

Starlight, Frenchie and MM are dragging this season down. Hughie too to a lesser extent.
Showrunners need to face facts that at this point, we’re really only in it for Homelander and Butcher because even they’re feeling it. It’s getting harder and harder to keep them away from each other and the other characters just don’t have as much to do or as much on the line because until the big domino falls (HL) there’s not shite they can really do that will be interesting. Everything is tapped out except for maybe Hughie with his dad.
Solo Starlight sucks. MM was one of my faves but he feels more like a plot device this season. I love Frenchie but he’s just not interesting. Same with Kimiko. At least she’s hot

Hahaha they didn’t get that it was making fun of Trump before!” has to be the most tired BS I’ve heard from the fan base. MAYBE it could’ve been said that some slower folks didn’t get it before season 3, but this is just so dishonest at this point. It was obvious starting with season 2 that it was directly about Trump and not just generally left wing. Most people just looked past it because it didn’t make the show worse. It’s gotten annoying.
You just nailed it. A large portion of people are ok with being made fun of as long as it’s in an actually funny, witty way or it’s an occasional jab in an otherwise well written story. The episodes I’ve seen so far of this season have just been ham fisted, over the top, bordering on lazy attempts to make one group look bad.

I never thought about it but Hughie having such a lesser role I makes me sad. His story in the first 2 seasons was just awesome.

Is it just me, or does he look... thinner this year? Like almost sickly compared to when the show started?
