I have simply stated the fact that it's impossible to review something you haven't watched.

A tv show isn't gonna make you physically ill so that's a shitty comparison.
I've heard a show/movie sucked or was gonna suck many times and then actually enjoyed them.
The movie The Menu (2022) had very divided opinions but I really liked it.

You made the claim, buddy. This is the weakest of attempts to cash in by you and prove me WRONG!
She-Hulk - (Hell, every Disney Marvel show & movie)
Rings of Power
Doctor Who
The Witcher
Velma
Willow
Terminator - Woke Fate
Wheel of Time
Star Trek
He-Man
ETC...
The list is expansive and been posted several times before.
But good on you for that ONE D&D movie which wasn't quite as woke as literally everything else.

The Witcher wasn't woke, it just wasn't good because they went away from the books
Rings of Power didn't have any wokeness that I noticed
Idk what was considered woke about wheel of time because I never read the books.
Havent watched the rest

When The Witcher stopped being about - THE WITCHER, and instead started to be 'Where's Ciri?', or 'Just Yennefer!' is when it went woke.
And claiming RoP wasn't 'woke' is beyond delusion. They forced diversity into what Tolkien specifically wrote for England. A fictional history it never had, based on a world HE made up, drawing from legends and history of Europe and the lands & cultural stories of the North.
You're either woefully ignorant or simply refusing to engage in good faith. This is pointless.

That's literally half of witcher book series and the first 2 acts of the Witcher 3 game though
Sorry, changing a few Hobbits or dwarves skin color doesn't ruin anything either. I think the show could be better but those details aren't holding them back, it's the actual story that isn't as good as the originals because it isn't written by someone like Tolkien. LOTR trilogy would've been just as good if they made the dwarf black because the story was elite.

Cope as hard as you wish, but Henry Cavill knows far more than you or the showrunner about all that and them choosing to ignore the source material is why he left the show.
It doesn't get more clear cut when the star of the show leaves because of the direction it's headed.

Dude does spend a lot of time talking about shows he never watched.

It absolutely does. You claiming otherwise shows you know nothing of Tolkien's works.
There were no high fades worn by the Elves. That actor very well COULD have existed, in the South, which would have been perfectly fine. He wouldn't have been an Elf though, but still could have been in the show, as a primary character, if the writers hadn't been lazy AF. But they had an AGENDA, and race swapping was at the top of their list.

Amazon’s DEI policies for film
quote:
We work to consistently delight all segments of our audience. We aim to do this in two ways: First, by seeking out stories that amplify the voices of characters across race, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability (including mental health), body size, gender, gender identity, and gender expression. Second, by bringing these often underrepresented or misrepresented characters to life in an inclusive production environment

Don’t be that guy. This kind of thing is the old racist, sexist, homophobe card played at its worst. It’s not the existence of any of those groups. It is shoehorning something in because of agenda. It is tiresome because characters start to be affected by real world identity politics.

So that wouldn’t apply to Acolyte? who is shoehorned in?
