Beyond awful. Can't imagine a scenario where someone would like that garbage.

I watched it on the plane back from Spring Break. It was entertaining. I watched it with subtitles. I don't really have a desire to watch it again, but thought it was fine fodder to pass the time.

I agree. Tenet to me was boring and the plot wasn't very good.

Tenet was much better the second time watching. But yeah, it comes across as a mish mash of random scenes and conversations with no explanation, and then 2 hours later just barfs everything onto you at once and expects you to put all the scenes into context. Nolans a dick

We should start discussing/ranking the Tenet threads instead of discussing the movie. Probably get more entertaining discussion since the overwhelming majority simply says, “movie sucks”

I think you meant a Mt. Rushmore of Tenet threads haha

This is getting three layers Inception deep now.

I listened to it with headphones on and still couldn't hear the fricking dialogue.

I didn't hate it. I didn't love it. It just kind of... was, I guess.

I had to turn closed captioning on so I could understand what the hell they were saying. Is this going to be a Nolan movie thing; dialog that you can't understand?

It was enjoyable for my hungover Sunday viewing. I'd give it a 5/10 or 6/10.

I don't think I'd recommend it to anyone. It's definitely Nolan's worst movie and I agree with Botton9's take from the other thread "if you enjoy seeing a director sucking his own dick, you will LOVE Tenet"

It was okay. Not as bad as some have said. Just flawed.

Could have been better.

I gave up after an hour. Didn't know what the frick was going on and didn't care enough to watch the rest and see if it came together.

I watched it expecting the worst and came away with this same take on the movie. I put subtitles on after the first train yard scene. Not sure how people would have understood anything in a movie theater.

The trailers I saw made it appear that Tenet is a giant mash-up of Christopher Nolan's signature stuff.

Just watched this and thought it was very meh. Nolan tries a different take on time travel and the inversion scenes look too clunky. I like the concept but don’t think it was executed well. Also, the fact that such a world altering event came down to an arms dealer seemed very cheap.
