Absolutely no chance Ted kills himself. Apple TV won’t let something like that happen as the rewatch value would plummet. Every character except Rupert will have a happy ending.

Because he said “we did it” and it’s supposed to mean they made a genuine connection or something like that.
But a good portion of people are like oh they did do IT.
It’s clearly supposed to be a romantic moment not a dramatic reveal of a rape of a main character.

This all seems plausible and acceptable.
However, I'd prefer that instead of going back into coaching, he starts making his own part-time PodCast specializing in movie critics. Also, he'll become the manager of his son's new boy band that features all pillow-proofed instruments.
