That might’ve been the worst episode of the series.

This season is a major disappointment compared to 1 and 2. I’m going to keep watching til the end of course, but they’re just trying to go in too many different directions which leads them to not dive too deeply into any of them, which leaves a lot to be desired overall. Also they are clearly pushing some liberal agenda which I can usually look past but it’s pretty stark compared to the last two seasons. It sucks because this was one of my favorite shows.

This season blows

It feels like they went from a room with one or two female writers to a room full of women and gays

That it does. I’m done, I haven’t watched the last 2-3 episodes. The Keeley/Jack bullshite is some of the worst tv I’ve ever watched. It’s not the same show.

Ted Lasso season ratings 1-10

1st season 10
2nd season 8
3rd season 1

yeah, and I'm not a hard core rightee, but it bothers me as well. The shut up and dribble /trashing the restaurant stuff was so heavy handed and exaggerated - who do they want the pat on the back from? LeBron? Now the payoff for that - the team coming to help was great - but how they got there through a tired and contrived socio-political sub-plot minimized the enjoyment of it and was frankly, lazy, old and cold.

And one other one that bothered me was a throw-away line with Keely's assistant telling her not to use FaceBook it's for old people and racists? Do the writers get paid extra for slipping in socio-political zingers?

I think if you know what type of program you're watching going in, it sets up relative expectations.

Because we're now a few seasons in, those particular quips and the unnecessary arcs have been so obviously out of context, it's really "taken me out" of the show.

Honestly, if this wasn't (presumably) the final season, I'd probably have already stopped. And I'm not being hyperbolic — I'm almost hate-watching at this point.

Which is a shame, because this show was really something different, and a lot of people latched onto it for that reason.

Ms. SnowGlobe would be all over Facebook. Such a shame that Ted Lasso has fallen so far.

All of this.

What really pisses me off is they lured me in the last episode with having lightheaded comedy and actual focus on soccer and coaching and the team

Then it’s back to this

You can really feel bill lawerences lack of involvement this season. He knows how to walk that tightrope

I think this is by far the biggest issue.

And that is how the bullshite gets injected. They find something that is successful and take over it. Even they know no one would watch a show that starts off like this. I'm just suffering through the last few episodes

Bland, pointless shlock isn’t different at all. It’s Disney for adults and people lap it up.

Her character brings nothing to the show now that her and Roy broke up

At this point it seems that Nate will finally stop being a fricking a-hole and will “come home” to Richmond while Ted will accomplish whatever it is he wanted to do, and for some reason go back with his ex-wife for Henry’s sake, which seems like a terrible idea.

Keeley will probably end up back with Jamie, which he has gotten much better so it’s not the worst thing ever, but they never should’ve gotten rid of her and Roy being together in the first place. It was all for no reason.

I’ve given up on anything actually being resolved.
