Agreed and I'm cool with that. I enjoy most of the characters a lot so I have no problem with an episode that "goes nowhere" but shows us more of them. It's not Game of Thrones where I'm looking to see who lives, dies or rules at the end.
I'm pretty sure they'll win the championship. Everything between now and then is just fun watching them along the way. Some episodes are better than others but I haven't watched one yet that I disliked. There are even few storylines I completely don't like. Keeley/Jack is the only one off the top of my head but I'm sure there are a couple small ones I don't remember.

I just don't give a shite about the Keeley/Jack shite because it came out of nowhere. That part of the show has been the worst writing in terms of setup and execution. I have no idea where it's going from here and don't care to.
With that said, as a soccer fan, I more enjoy these episodes that are focused outside of the matches than on the matches. I really like the majority of these characters and (other than the aforementioned Keeley) I've enjoyed the character archs of everyone. I was happy to see Ted and Rebecca actually interact on a deeper level again. It was something I liked in the first two seasons and felt it was lacking this season. I don't need them to be romantically linked, but I enjoy how they play off of one another. Jamie has become my favorite character, having found the perfect balance of prick and actual human being. I love how they are handling Nate this season.
Also, the soccer scenes kinda take me out of the show akin to the football scenes in Remember the Titans.

I’ve gone from hating on Nate to liking him again. Jade is pretty much perfect for him and they are now the healthiest romantic relationship on the show. Go figure. But she’s proving to him that Nate’s dorky arse self is perfectly perfect for him.
I hate how this show will never address the sleazy Dr. Jake shite though. What a self-absorbed weirdo with those selfie requests.

Yeah, I am fine with Michelle realizing he is just a rebound and not for her longterm as long as she looks elsewhere and doesn’t try to win back Ted.

Is the consensus that we all want Roy and Keely to get back together?
That’s what I want. I feel Like the Jack storyline is just to make that feel earned. Breaking them up and them just getting back together is easy. But we are also seeing Keely opening say she ignores red flags. It definitely feels like a waste of time though.
Roy didn’t help his cause either this week.
But we do need a good Roy episode. The guy hasn’t gotten enough screen time.

Roy was just bizarrely written this episode regarding that. I did think as he was saying it and the scene unfolded that he was thinking it was hacked because of some idiotic thing Jamie had done in past and he wanted to warn her, but it really didn’t play out that way. Maybe his jealousy was a realistic emotion, though.

I mean She dated Jamie season 1.

Even in season 1 when Rebecca tells Keeley about a topless photo of her on the internet from a drone on a yacht and she shows Keeley the picture of Rebecca's tits in all their glory Keeley says "and you paid them to keep this off the internet, I would have put this out there myself they're beautiful"

He's definitely a loser, but I really hope these breadcrumbs about Ted and Michelle getting back together are just setting up for Ted to tell her to frick off when Michelle tries to get back with him, because frick Michelle. Ted literally calls her to tell her he is upset about Dr. Jake and Michelle literally rubs it in his face.

Idk man, maybe he ends up with Rebecca, but that would seem way too obvious at this point with the matches.
Also we've got like 4 episodes left, right? Ted and Rebecca have hardly interacted this season and there has been no hint of romance from two main characters. Feel like it would heavy-handed to suddenly hook them up to end the show.

Honestly they could write Keely off the show now. I don’t even give a shite who she ends up with after wasting our time with this jack garbage.
Hopefully Ted grows a pair and tells Michelle to frick off but I feel like them working it out is probably the only way to wrap up the show that makes sense at this point. Sassy has been nonexistent for too long into the season now, they’ve done nothing to push him and Rebecca together. I just don’t see how else they do it.

She clearly didn’t which is why his jealousy got the better of him.

show was a bit bland, I still love the old woman, who is the bar owner. She was going to take the glass of milk away because Henry had a West Ham shirt on and put Ted and Beard on probation

My updated prediction: I still think Rebecca is pregnant from her one night stand and gets to be a mother to fulfill the psychic's prophecy, though I think they have shown her drinking.
Ted decides to move back to Kansas to be near Henry and Nate takes over Richmond with Beard staying behind to be an assistant with Roy. Hopefully Ted tells Michelle to take a hike but agrees to healthy co-parent with her.
Jamie fulfills his destiny of greatness.
I really don't care what happens to Keeley.
