Are people really getting their panties in a wad over 8 reviews on RT?
It's more just pointing out how absurd the disparity is between audience and critics scores and how very few critics have the balls to even submit a review for this...probably because they like it and are afraid they'll get blasted for going against PC culture.

Odd choice to pick Bourdain as your hill to die on in this instance. He always came off as a "anti-celebrity", if you will

If he didn’t kill himself id have no idea who he is. How does that make someone weep for society?

One of the negative reviews came from Juicy Smooyay.

Lol, go look up any stand-up special on RT, I can't find any that have more than a couple of reviews.
Sure, Chappelle pissed off a handful of SJWs but let's stop acting like this is some kind of widespread thing.

It’s true that most RT critics won’t review a comedy special, but I still like Jeremy Jahns theory that they didn’t review it because they’re afraid to admit they laughed at it.

So much this. It was funny. It was mean. It can be both things. I laughed my arse off.

Rotten Tomatoes is owned by the industry that owns the critics that are supposedly objectively rating the products that the industry also creates and distributes. Anyone that values any of this circle-jerk is foolish.

Because I couldn’t care less to remember some dead guy’s name on the show I never watched? OK man

Generally speaking, if RT loves a comedy, it’s terrible. If they give it bad reviews, generally means it’s good.

Hannah Gadsby special
100% - 46 critics
54% - 581 audience.

Which also begs the question, who actually watched it (referring to both critics and audience), and who had an ax to grind?
I've never seen this special, or this comedian.
I've seen Chappelle before, but not his newest special.

Fair enough, I've never even heard of that person. So that seems way more ridiculous than anything going in with Sticks and Stones. I just searched for other well known comedians like Bill Burr, Joe Rogan, and Brian Regan and could hardly find any reviews for any of their specials, which is why I'm not surprised that Chappelle doesn't have many for this.

These people review what their publications pay them to review. That theory does not reflect reality.

Tucker turned a couple of million people on to it tonight.
Netflix probably loves it. SJWs gonna hate because haters gonna hate.
I'm watching it on the plane ride in a few hours.

I wasn’t impressed tbh. He’s still funny, but his latest specials seem lazy.
I liked his other recent ones much better than this one. This one did seem to really fall flat.
