Yeah, the kid is annoying and if the woke tranny girlfriend is going to be a main character, I’m out.

decent episode last night. But my main complaint, and I think someone mentioned this a page or two back, is this:
I get this, but they are very much making him too unlikable for me. I'm almost at the point where I hope he loses so his ego gets knocked down a peg or ten. He's just a gigantic dick with no redeeming qualities as of yet. And that makes it hard for me to root for him.
I cringed when the mom made the comment to Pryce about him not being a father. That's an aspect of this show that hits pretty deep. And I liked that Mitts clued her in and she felt terrible. Marc Maron is great in this show.
I keep seeing comments about Zero being a tranny. Is that verified, or is that just people making fun of a chick who's not very attractive? Her woke schtick will grind on me and I'll grow tired of it...but for now I like it as a pure contrast to Mitts and them playing off of each other.

Hacks was able to do this flawlessly. It comes off more cringe in this show.

The whole introduction scene where everyone lists their pronouns and he says normal man and she eye rolls him was light years away from Hacks writing.
I don't hate the show and I'll continue to watch, but I think it has a ways to go in writing quality.

Her character in Your Honor was much more likable. It’s hard to tell if the show is preaching with her character or mocking the stereotype.

But
Owen Wilson is just too much Owen Wilson. I can’t fool myself to think he was ever a serious golf pro. It’s just too unbelievable

Me thinks tranny, don’t care what they say. That face, voice, body shape. They even threw in a line about being a gender fluid caddy.

Watching the latest episode and feeling the same way. I like Owen and the other guy’s banter, however…
The mom, kid, and tranny are insufferable. The mom gives me a headache to listen to and didn’t understand the whole bank advisor scene. Why does the smart arse kid have to wear ultra baggy clothes and front tuck? The tranny, well.
I fear the show is slowly offloading to more of them.

Watched episode 3 last night. This is, how do you say umm, not good TV. Wow.
I'm going to give it a little more time simply because I'm a golfer and there hasn't been a golf tv series like this, so I want to like it. But man these characters suck
The kid was already so soft but now you have a gender fluid influencing him. And like yall say, they aren't able to pull off her character at all like they are in Hacks. "I'll leave you alone if you feel safe with him" or the rant about eating meat. They are giving us this typical annoying arse youth except forgetting to make her funny. It's a comedy, you should probably remember to throw in the jokes.
I will say, I do like the arse hole ex-caddie though.
