Yeah, we try to forget about that.
That was during the period when Reggie Hudlin was writing Black Panther, IIRC, and wanted to shoehorn in a strong black female as his wife despite them having pretty much no interaction before then.

Honestly I wish they had the balls to just end the universe with a Spider-Man and Guardians epilogue to Endgame. That’s all there should be since they won’t top this. Just have entertaining epilogues and that’s it.

it's got a similar vibe to the Homecoming IMAX poster. I don't think they're trying to copy the aesthetic of spiderverse. The end credits sequence was also animated in a similar way, so I think the Far from Home poster is falling in line with what they've used in this series so far.

Completely unrelated to Marvel, but Favreau directed, wrote, and starred in a nice little movie called Chef in 2014. I highly recommend it.
